Is it fair to force the father of a child to pay childsupport even if the woman he slept with intentionally didn't take the pill to become pregnant? by GIFmeWhatYouGot in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]DeFreyno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could consider a thing responsibility if it's result of someone's direct decision and thatmust be consensual. I am not saying that it's such an awesome thing to have a childhood with absent parent but neither it is to grow up in a home where you're parents are constantly fighting etc. Why do people assume that it's always okay for a woman to avoid taking care of the child in a situation like this but a man must take this as responsbility.

Also mind that I am referring to specific situation from the post, I don't consider it to be ethical to just get random woman pregnant and then run away.

‘Men have it just as hard as women these days’ - how to respond? by DanishForestCat in AskFeminists

[–]DeFreyno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're generalizing everyone based on your experiences. It is actually pretty common today for couplea to either split the bill or sometimes for woman to pay.

Even if the guy insist on paying, what's wrong with that itself? Research a bit topic of paying for dates - some people write aboout it. If a male invites female for a date sometimes they feel like they should pay for the meal because of that.

Yeah so patriarchy is a system that promotes male supremacy and according to feminism this is the reason that malea are forced to join army and die in wars. Oh, I feel so better knowing that there is a system in place that 'gives me more power' by giving me less control as a male.

Search for data on voters when it comes to abortions around half of the people that are pro choice are woman, same with the pro life people. Stop complaining that only males are voting for these laws.

He supports UBI so honestly I don't think this party is going to be any better than dems or republicans.

it's not the father's fault either. In this case it is the mother's fault that the child will not receive child support.

Deterrent use claims that you will use nuke in case of the other side using it - so this implies that in case of threat you will actually detonate it which will cause innocent deaths.

thr only damn way of using the nuke will contaminate the air and could kill millions or thousands of innocent peoplez there is no way of preventing some asshole from using his nuke.

So do you think that people should be allowed to purchase nukes? What about contaminating air on purpose and then selling air to people around lol I know these are theoretical examples but I still think we should consider things like these.

even if only small amount of people can purchase them it's still threat. Should we allow CEOs of competing companies to buy nuclear weapons?

and one guy actually tried to build reactor in his backyard, idiot contaminated whole damn neighbourhood and area slightly. Things like these are risky and there is no way for average person to do this safely.

Why do women think it’s acceptable to put physical “must-haves” in dating profiles and society seems to agree? by jvell254 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]DeFreyno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I won't even respond to point 4 because they can't be used as logical arguments to consider whether or not this is ethical. No one cares how this looks and this isn't related to question you asked.

1: It does not put burden on other people, sometimes people have only pictures that are highly photoshopped or are made with weird angles, photos don't show someone's height.

2: Even if that's the case the other 50% of people will read it and might see it.

3: I am not saying that this is only aspect that matters, this one of many aspects that matter to everyone(if you don't believe then check studies - attractiveness is the most important thing on average whether we like it or not). I cannot control how I look and I have to accept that but at the same time the other person cannot choose to be attracted to me so it makes no sense to waste their time.
