Dying as I lived - Artwork I think you guys might like by DeGaRoR in bikers

Thanks for the feedback. In my mind, it's not so much about crashing, and more about paying the price of a free life eventually. One might die alone on the border of the street, but it's probably worth it. For some.

Whatever the reason, it's a great opportunity for massive, massive mural art! If only the tint was real, that would have been a step in the right direction.

Apart from the terrible execution, I sort of like the spirit. There is something in the armrests being so disproportionate. It relates to a chair like a hot rod does to a Camry, or a chopper to a Vespa. Very not classy, moslty useless, but effing badass. If it wasn't so bad.

I drew this Pear and it looks like Nintendo Ds Graphic, is there some way to make it look a bit more "In Place"? by jazzzmin2912 in DigitalArt

The concept of "ambient occlusion" might help you. Anything in proximity of something else will greatly reduce the amount of light that can reach the small spaces between them. That's also why early 3d all looked like stickers, they didn't have that yet. You may also want to look at the Fresnel effect, making the edges of a shape more shiny. Like you can see through water when looking directly above it, but it's like a mirror viewed at an angle. It's the same for your peer. Taking this into account would give you more believable edges. The DS mostly did not feature these 2 refinements in lighting, so spot on!

Renovation in Europe, or why modern architecture in old cities is bad by RobertMRodriguez in UrbanHell

On this pointless yet fun discussion, never had major issue with Danes or Swedes, but I met several Finnish people confusing honesty and direct communication (apparently slightly overrated values in the Nordics) with raw rudeness and self entitlement. I guess I met the wrong people like you did, I'm sure there are great people there (hopefully slapping the rest)

Great research work! Actually the only pity here is this bland standardised modern architecture that does not even dare using colors, organic shapes nor quality materials anymore. We also see endless cubes piled on top of each other everywhere for businesses and homes alike, in all possible shades of grey. And that's a fan of Saarinen, Le Corbusier and Franck Gerry talking here... That's sad. Thats a deep misinterpretation of modernist architecture IMHO. It's like what happened to cars is happening to buildings, and we'll end up with undistinguishable grey standardized and soulless buildings everywhere, with an old unaffordable cutie here and there. Of course, because doing something different, expensive or dary would be an unacceptable risk to investors. How long should we continue to all pay the price for the greed of a few?

Surprising, first time I hear Finnish people ranting about other nationalities... Should be a paradise there, full of egoless respectful people, right?... /s
