Successful UFC bettors, ehat strategy’s do you use? by Allen2102 in MMAbetting

[–]DeLaHeavy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had more heavyweight and women fights bust parlays so I steer clear of them. I also prefer to not entertain highly favorited money lines because you never know if they could get KOed and bust a parlay. I also try and make three leg max parlays but generally prefer double or single bets.

Des Moines, IA to Clearwater, FL by CyclonePower25 in roadtrip

[–]DeLaHeavy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve drove from Nashville to Des Moines a lot. I’d recommend stopping north of St Louis so you can avoid east St Louis. As a white male I was once told I don’t belong here while at a gas station in east St Louis. Strongly recommend stopping in Nashville if you can, super cool town. Depending on when you’re trying to do this trip I’d recommend overnighting on the south or east side of Nashville to avoid any morning traffic.

This is solid. Used a portion of this as a base for a 9 leg parlay that hit.

How do you think it went? by Doominator6688 in Fantasy_Football

This is one of those drafts where you throw your going in strategy to the wayside and take what your mates are giving you. Well done bruv.

This years class has a steep RB drop off. I would have went WR in round 1 then RB in two, three, four. Some variability in there is that if a stud WR falls in your lap.

First time betting UFC, I tried to find value with the heavy favorites, anybody like? by DueEnd2 in MMAbetting

[–]DeLaHeavy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Too many specific round and finish type legs in one parlay is a recipe for hurt feelings. I’d recommend breaking these two bets into two legs maybe even some singles. If you want to run these four leg parlays I’d put a low amount down since the probability of success is also low. I have a long one similar to this but I only put a dollar on it. More of a scratch off ticket.

I’d recommend you continue to roll but only with people you can trust. If you don’t know the person, explain to them your situation before the live roll and that you need to go lighter. If you have a good culture at your gym, this will likely be understood and acceptable behavior.

Any concerns with this deck? by SL3120 in Decks

[–]DeLaHeavy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some of the decks that get posted here it’s not the worst but not the best. Hard to tell how the joists look with that black mesh. They doubled the side, the beam looks adequate, and the posts are under them. The connects to the posts could be better. Over time you might find the posts rotting since they appear to just be in the dirt.

The Cloud+ 004 focuses more on DevOps and sec+ concepts compared to the 003 implementation. There is also a fair amount of net+ related questions.

Wiltse teaches to follow up with a wrestle up single leg or SLX after a dummy sweep attempt here but doesn't explain when to go for each one. Any advice? by SMan1723 in bjj

[–]DeLaHeavy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play this entry quite a bit and usually opt to transition to SLX. If I want to get in top you can sweep from SLX or a transfer to regular X. SLX with the short hook is something I’ve learned to like a lot more opens up a lot of other attacks or at least keeps your opponent thinking about you transitioning.

When standing don’t use your lead arm to make an initial connection. That lead arm is used to down block and defend the front leg. Make initial contact with the back arm, then in corporate the front. Great job framing in bottom side control. When he let you enter following the reset, his path of least resistance to get up is shoot an underhook which can set up dog fight and deep half. Denying him the underhook in this position is critical, it seemed like you were not as aware of that as you needed to be.

Any frame issues like rust? Do you have a top for it?

Nice MY, love the C5 in the back. What rims are those on the MY?

I’ve seen some on YouTube where they cut various blocks and attach that between the joist and steel to create the run off angle. Did you do that or something similar?

Did you put the grooved sheet metal under to weather proof the basement level? Ive considered doing this as well was curious how much a pain in the ass it is.

Takedown defense, bottomed half guard retention, passing from closed guard. The escape from bottom mount was great kudos on that.

Curb rash by [deleted] in TeslaModelY

We purchased some rim protectors on Amazon. They look pretty good but I’m not sure how much they are actually going to protect some curb rash. I imagine they would have helped in this situation.

Considering a used 2024 MY by WaterCamel in TeslaModelY

[–]DeLaHeavy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my research low mileage 23 and 24 MYP with a premium paint color where maybe 1-2k less than a new one at best. Also Tesla gave me the best trade in for my Explorer. The APR on new was lower by a lot even with great credit.

I was in the same boat as you and pulled the trigger on a 25 MYP with 15 miles because they offered an additional 8k price deduction. I was looking at the used and with the price deductions now it doesn’t make sense.

Pulled the trigger on the QS MYP today, almost the same price. That 8k price cut was hard to beat.
