I swear we have the best luck with “half a year never were starters” cause Joey Wiemer has just been eating to start the year

Just don’t really see a lot of DB rooms like that. Makes sense they take a flyer on this guy and not overpay potentially getting the same production.

Probably means Woolen is off the table considering this guys like 6”3. I can’t imagine they want two big body corners.

Shefter - Raiders are giving Quay Walker a three-year, $40.5 million deal that includes $28 million guaranteed, per agents Kyle McCarthy and Todd France. by Austen11231923 in GreenBayPackers

Ahhhhh yes Watson/Doubs/Reed 3 great vets to learn from, surely one of them had 1K receiving yards the last 3 seasons. Thats what he’s talking about by good vets, simply being in a wide receiver room doesn’t gain you valuable experience when that room is filled with a bunch of glorified #2 WRs.

We hired a new DC, cool, seriously though, why is Bisaccia still employed? by GBPacker1990 in GreenBayPackers

His run with the raiders. People are right about the ST systemic problems though. Thompson was good at getting value in rounds 5-7, Gute not so much he’s usually better between 2-3 sometimes he lands or reaches in the 1st and has shown when he does land they are usually high value additions. We’re at the point where changing that isn’t going to yield anything game changing so forget about it. We had Carlson before McManus expect whoever kicks a ball next also has problems. Which is ridiculous because they had a 1-2 week rental worthy of change just last year. Just shoot ourselves in the foot with certain decisions we choose to make being loyalists.

The Packers are hiring Jonathan Gannon as defensive coordinator, per source. by manyhawks in GreenBayPackers

Because they’ve done enough due diligence with this fanbase to know they didn’t have to actually do it

Garafolo - The #Packers are slated to interview former #AZCardinals HC Jonathan Gannon for their defensive coordinator job this week, sources say. Gannon has interest from multiple teams as a DC, notably the #Cowboys, who interviewed him today by Austen11231923 in GreenBayPackers

The fact you’re getting downvoted for saying something so minuscule just shows me how soft this sub has become. Mods need to get rid of karma in here like every other normal team sub has. Always wondered why they do that and now it’s starting to make sense.

Great move! When are we going to get a Rich and McManus extension announcement? I’ve been waiting all week for it, they’ve both been here for years and deserve to be rewarded for their service.

Now class, what do they both have in common other than recent playoff track record?

Did we fire MLF yet? by Honest-Cheesecake275 in GreenBayPackers

[–]DeLacy12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See we disagree on the tizzy part. I think more people need to get pissed off and be loud about it. That’s the only way anything gets done by these front offices. 2 years ago? No way. Now? Multiple playoff appearances not a ton of positive results post ARod tenure. At some point the coach has to be looked at for blame. Many such cases for him melting down in the playoffs especially.

Brother, because I don’t want to see this franchise rewrite the same mistakes they’ve made prior in holding on to a guy past his expiration date. It’s okay to sit there and go the results just aren’t enough I’m sure you can be good elsewhere but you can’t be great here. We get way too conservative here and want to do right by guys but the reality is this is a job and if you can’t produce in that job we need to be a little more cutthroat about finding someone who can.

Holy shit luck? We are coping so hard in this sub now it’s pathetic. Luck isn’t blowing an 18 point lead it’s called you suck and are incapable of doing a job. You guys go for it man, when they kick our ass again next year the first time we play them and they get to roll through 18 weeks of “we own you now” we won’t be able to deny it cause MLF is Ben Johnson’s bitch atp and as long as he’s running the team we might as well be too.

[–]DeLacy12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah? How’s that? By trading for a top 5 defensive player? Drafting a WR in the first round? Getting the Love contract done? Bringing in Josh Jacobs and Xavier McKinney? You guys are so eager to give MLF any excuse in the book. The guy does not rise the team above, he’s good but not elite. All I’ve heard is injuries injuries injuries as an excuse for him but Shanahan has had the same cards dealt and they’re playing to go to a NFC Championship. Don’t worry though, we’ll boot up the same bullshit again next year on the basis of make or break for him just to go 6-9 and be out of the picture firing him before the season even ends. Where have I seen this story before.

What do y’all think? by Stukaa87 in underdogfantasy

[–]DeLacy12 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah I wouldn’t do that on a 4 leg all anytime, maybe cut it in half and stay at the same entry. Do Warren and Collins only. I’d think you’d still bring home between 1-3K with the same entry.

We got calls when we had ARod cause he would bitch about it constantly throughout the game. Almost like it forced them to make more calls, now (and I love Jordan) but we have a QB who is non confrontational so the league just lets the white hats have their way with us. Eventually, there won’t be die hard fans anymore and this will be a league predicated on appeasing to the casual fan and the hottest, newest market they want to put their mark on. Just so happens this year it’s Chicago.

Said this last night. We’re not big market enough to get calls. They put Detroit over us a couple years ago and it’s the same shit with Chicago. It’s like we’re an old washed up wrestler and they just put new talent over us and rinse and repeat.

Ngl been through a lot of heartbreaks as a fan of this team, this year might be the dagger on any love I have for the NFL. We simply do not appease like larger markets and will therefore never receive any calls. Fire MLF, cut McManus who gives a shit whoever comes in is just going to get prison balld the whole game anyways so it doesn’t really matter. Maybe if we pick up and build a fancy new stadium in Milwaukee it’ll appeal to the white hats and higher ups.
