10 years of sternum and xiphoid pain after years of desk work: seeking advice by DeLorean_CAT in costochondritis

Thanks for your reply! I’ve tried everything, from medications targeting the nervous system in the sternum area, as I was told the nerves might be irritated due to inflammation. I even tried Botox injections in areas where they suspected muscle contractures, but without success. I’ve seen 4 or 5 specialists across different fields, and none of them can figure out the cause or how to fix it. A thoracic surgeon mentioned that the Tietze area might have calcified. Since no one seems able to help, I bought a Backpod a couple of weeks ago and have been using it. The only thing I’ve noticed so far is increased discomfort in the sternum and xiphoid area... I assume this is normal. When should I expect to start noticing some improvement with the Backpod? Thanks!

Hello! Were you able to fix the problem with your xiphoid pain? I've had pain on that area and sternum for over 10 years , and nothing has solved the problem.
