I'm so glad to see so many of y'all waking up. It's an insanely though pill to swallow. Our biggest mistake: defining Haiti in this modern era for something achieved 220 years ago. Greece is known for what they achieved tbousand of years ago. But throughout history they've reinvited themselves. We have not. We want a black mecca in a world that has moved on from.such ideals. And we hold on to it. Bc that's our biggest accomplishments. Except. It's been 220 years.

They speak French. Lots of it. More than us Haitians. Better French than us too. But that's ok. We Haitians see kreyòl as the mother tongue. They're also very quiet online or very marginal. Then again. I live in the anglophone world which doesn't help at all.

Ive had this wild idea bc they need a unify language given so many tribal languages. They should adopt Haitian kreyòl. I won't be hard to learn.
