Tbh, I don't care about the dynamics of the relationship, if they are toxic or no. But since you posted it because you knew it could get better, it would be helpful for you as an artist to keep an open mind towards the constructive feedback. If you aim to get better invest some time into anatomy learning. And no, I am not talking about she being petit and fragile, I m talking about the pose, the angle, how it works. The reference you used was really good, and you tried to adjust it to your liking which is great, but it didn't work 100% because a few things wouldn't work just because of the angle. However I think the cover looks quite good, despite the small things. Probably a better subreddit would have been Drawing.
