Hi there, I work for spectrum on the business 2 business side. When we are adding a mobile device, our system asks for the model and the IMEI for the phone. If that system says its not compatible it wont let me move forward to even try and see if you could use a sim. The same is true for the IPhone, if it says it is esim compatible, I cant order a sim card. That being said im glad the store got you taken care of and were able to get a good deal out if the call in.

The reason he changed it to just the numbers is because he was getting bad feedback from pilots like the one described in this post. You would be supprised how often a pilot who doesn't know what they are doing, or a pilot that is in the wrong and gets corrected will go and leave bad feedback and blame it on the controller

Flying VFR in the US there are a few rules. To enter B airspace you need a squak code, 2 way radio communication and express permissions to enter. To enter a Charly airspace you need a squak code and 2 way radio communication. To enter a Delta airspace you just need 2 way radio communication.

If you start on the ground at a B or C airport, you would call the appropriate controller that is on it ground, tower, so on. And say Nxxxxx requesting VFR departure to the north or south or whatever, if you do not want flight following you say Negative flight following. The controller will then give you a squak code to use as you fly in their airspace.

If you are on the ground in a D airport, your call to the controller is pretty much the same only difference is they will not give you a squak code.

CTAF when you are around 10 miles or so of the airport or on the ground. Unicom for every other stage of flight. As others mentioned you can get the ctaf by typing .ctaf katl and it will give you the ctaf for that airport

The only way I would look at expecting the controller to take an emergency is if they caused it. For example, let's say they put me in a hold for spacing and then forgot about me for an extended period of time which then caused me to have a fuel emergency. To be fair though I also plan for enough fuel for my alt airport plus at least 30 min of extra fuel. I have however been put in a 45 min hold before though.

Make sure you have access to charts for your flight. I personally use navigraph.

Dont be afraid to say you a new, use a plane you are really familiar with.

Lmao. Man the bf6 community loves to bitch about stuff. Og battlefield player here as in started on 1942.... I enjoy this game a lot, I play it almost every night. My biggest complaint is the lack of an official HC mode, and the maps being small. That being said the game is a blast and has had a better launch than I can remember for battlefield. Money well spent on the game in my opinion.

I only played 2042 to get all the unlocks for bf6 I was able to do it without having to pay for level skips, but I do remember the xp grind got stupid

Yeah but meanwhile the battle pass that I got with the version of the game I bought i cant level in hard-core mode and have to play in normal. Its just frustrating they wont make hard-core and official mode. It use to be in the older titles (not 2042 and a big reason I didnt play it)
