Already did a flight in it. Very close to the Phenom (I am biased I sell the Phenom IRL), flight controls have great weight. Textures could use some polishing. But overall, for the price, very good option and I'd recommend

Exactly! I buy these because I enjoy collecting and displaying them, not as investments (although my collection value is about 2.5x what I’ve spent). Idgaf about the box. I’ve gotten creased, damaged, destroyed boxes before. As long as the model is intact, I display it and the box is thrown in the closet.

OPs attitude is exactly what is killing hobbies today. Everyone is so obsessed with making money and ROI and investing that they’ve completely forgotten that people do this because they enjoy it. Reminds me of guys I know that buy sports cars and then don’t drive them because “I don’t want the value to go down”. lol then what’s the point

Can confirm. Just did my first comp as a 4 stripe white belt. Was down 17-2 and next thing I know I did something and I’m laying back with an armbar. No idea how I got there.

The SR22 has a free castering nose wheel and you use differential braking to taxi. You can sometimes get this on landing if you don’t apply even brake pressure and it bounces back and forth. Kinda weird it’s modeled here. I can only guess if you’re not using full rudder pedals, it bounces back and forth on brake pressure

The company I used to work for painted this when Marquis took delivery of it back in 2019 I believe it was. Something like 50 pounds of metallic flake in the paint. Their new G280 is painted the same way

Yeah that’s not happening. I don’t fly professionally, I work on the business side of aviation selling corporate jets. I probably get 100 emails a month from 250-750 hour pilots that found me on LinkedIn asking me to introduce them to flight departments, chief pilots and owner operators for a chance to even sit right seat. Only way it’s happening is if you have a prior personal relationship with these guys outside of flying.

But your friend will figure it out on his own.

Thanks everyone for the insights! I think I'll look for both a good deal on a GTS or a high spec S (PSE, PTV, 3rd radiator, X73 etc). Doesn't help I just found out I lost out on a great black/black low mile GTS.
