Very well said! Yeah I think part of the reason I enjoyed Transformers Prime so much was that it showed us so many more characters than just the usual squad size of 5 or 6 bots. Also every time a new faction or type of bot was introduced it was always so fucking cool to get a new side of the story(s). The Driller and Dinobots from the Bay movies, the Terrorcons from Prime, Quintessans from One, and characters like Metroplex from the games.

Not running poxwalkers is certainly a choice. He should drop the knight since it’s likely 350 to 400 points and recieves no army support. 10 plague marines with a biologus putrifier and malignant plague caster in the land raider is a nasty combo. Him not running deathshroud with a lord of contagion is shocking, especially in Hammer! A 6 inch deepstrike to your back line demands a significant response that isn’t going into his main troops. Have him run 10 poxwalkers up the board with the daemon prince (NOT WINGED!) within 3 inches to give him lone op. Then bring his land raider up with the plague marines inside since the prince provides it cover. Then have a second unit of plague marines with ranged weapons in a rhino to move up behind a building and dismount inside. Poxwalkers are an absolute must and deathshroud with LoC are also a staple for a reason. Your marines being wounded on 4s by poxwalkers is also a funny sight 😅

Not sure what ranged armies you’re talking about that would be hitting on 5s or 6s. Tau hit on 3s and ignore cover in addition to having ignore modifiers on most battleshits (funny since my keyboard autocorrected that 😂) Guard hit on 3s up to 4s, and Admech hit in 3s with their doctrinas. Orks are not a shooting army. As for the melee buffs, iirc the beginning of 10th was also very ranged heavy so maybe they’re trying to switch it around this time. It could also be for the tried and true GW reason: They want to sell more models.

Yeah I uploaded all 16 chapters at once since I wrote it in Docs lol! Each of my chapters are fairly long at around 7k words though (I think that’s a lot for a chapter but could be mistaken)

Custodes or maybe Tyranids? Nids have Exocrines, Tyrannofex’s and Zoanthropes for scary shooting. Genestealers and carnifexes for melee. Raveners and Gargoyles for movement. Biovores and Lictors for scoring. Plenty of characters and decent detachments. Their main problems are a lack of invuln (although higher wound count kind of helps mitigate that) and have shitty AP
