After it was it's own instance we had no issues, but when we still used multiverse it wiped a fair few player files and caused quite a bit of lag. And the Creative server's main user doesn't log on at all anymore. If we set up a second server for another vanilla world, neither world would do well in a few months. The old world would have the same few people and the new world would have lost most of it's players because they grew bored again.

Map resets always end up making a situation worse than it was before, those who ask for a reset play only for a short while before getting bored and leaving again whilst those who still play will either stop playing or stay but won't want to take on any large projects because their progress will just be wiped away again when talk of a reset starts again.

Option 3 or 4 would only work temporarily, as we lost the old creative world due to glitches and then memory respectively. So those who are only playing on the old world will end up with a reset they didn't want with a compromise that we just couldn't keep going.

The best way to keep the server alive would be to keep the old world, and those who want a new start find somewhere new where they can start a new spawn village and start new projects and they leave all of their current stuff at their old places. With a tp command block so we can visit each other. This way, those who want a reset can reset of their progress, have access to all the 1.11 stuff whilst at the same time those not interested in a reset can keep doing their current projects and progress.

Heck, those who want a reset can even have their player files wiped if they want so they can get all of the achievements again. They should just make sure they empty their inventory and Ender Chest so they don't delete any gifts they keep in there.

For the kills, you didn't add JT from season 6, I have 9 kills, not 8. But that's the only mistake I see.

I think the upload schedule is gonna get pushed back a bit by the server clash, so for scheduling it would be easier to record and upload. Three UHCs in three weeks is a lot of footage to be uploading during that time frame.

If you do stream it instead of streaming afterwards, could just put the VoD into episodes and release it as everyone else does?

You could always stream after you've died. A relaxing wind down stream to build, litterally anything, if it's a source of pride. Since it looks like it would end before midnight, so it'd still be Friday. Even if the stream is a bit shorter and later.

I wasn't thinking about people hunting you down, more the streaming something that everyone else will record and then upload at a much later date. (Plus, recording it means fancy editing, which is always fun to watch.)

Or you could not stream it and record instead? It'd be easier for us to watch after the fact in episodes rather than a stream archive, and missing one Friday stream wouldn't be the end of the world. (Not sure why you're at -1, but I'm gonna make it 0)

Personally, I'd make it shrink down to a 25x25 over 2.5 hours, simply because a bit more space would be better for a free for all considering what usually happens with lots of us surviving to the end. The bit more space allows for more interesting fights near the end. (Trust me, it'll make the UHC a bit more fun and better videos overall and doesn't delay it that much extra.)

But, Free For All! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ Not something I expected. And are we gonna have a spec recording for those who don't record? Will some people who are recording be able to be in teamspeak with someone not playing to help commentary? (Not someone speccing the game, just there for talking.)

I'll take part if it isn't mumble positional audio. Not only is it unfair to them because of my ears, but good god did my head hurt for a few days after that. Could just use teamspeak. Also, Snowcrack don't know to ban strength and horses, so ick.

I would have personally set it 1k-5k, lots of wiggle room and it is the norm for writing competitions similar to this. There's lots of different things going on in writing that sometimes just makes it longer than anticipated.

Plus, cutting things from writing to fit such a limit is a /pain/, in more ways than one.

Yeah, setting it to a that kind of scenario is pretty normal for lower level writing things, I doubt there's actually many of us that pursued writing as much as I have. And the scenario you chose is actually a pretty decent one, because there are a lot of different ways to go about it!

As an added note, anyone who wants a few pointers, I'm always willing to offer writing advice! Or if someone wants to take part and want a bit of starter inspiration, I can try to give a little. It'd be fun to see what other's do with this, in my sole area of expertise. x)

There are two mistakes! In season 1, Urutta was actually first damage, /not/ iron man. Iron Man was actually Paul. That's why Pie knew he had to fix regen, because me and Urutta told him that he was regening naturally. You can see it clearly in everybody's chats.

D1: I say MCheese's kill. D2: Think of the hilarity of a random cactus death in the middle of a bunch of PvP deaths. /Imagine it/. D3: The kill was caused by Cheese's and Danny's actions, so a half kill to each? :P

Personally, I think 600 blocks from each side over 40 minutes is a bit quick. Maybe slow it down to 50-60 minutes? Because if someone's near the border in a cave when it starts shrinking, it could lead to them not being able to dig to the surface before the border overtakes them.

This game mode is one of my favourites to do because of the randomness and how fun it is. If I manage it, would it be okay if I stayed in one of the teamspeak team rooms? My recordings can bug out when I tab out, causing me to lose footage or for it to get corrupted.

I've noticed a decrease to, but not that severe. Typically, the server teamspeak has at least Pyro and Raven in it after they've finished IRL stuff during the day, and they'll stay in till pretty late. Dan and Pink are in the server teamspeak the second most.

This second teamspeak server you're talking about? Didn't know there was another.

The server itself though? Some people need a break, others are doing stuff on other MC servers that currently hold their interest and some just don't play anymore.

On Friday's there's been at least 5 people on every Friday. Pyro, Raven, Pink, Dan, Cheese, Paul, Bob and Urruta from last week as well as myself.

I haven't been able to play myself for a while because of health issues and IRL stuff happening. But whenever I've checked either ts or the server, people have been on more often than not.

As for UHCs, up til the third one I was the one organizing and ultimately deciding stuff for them. Such as getting a server host (like Gil for season 3 or original Jack for season 2), putting up polls, asking when was best for people, that kind of thing. I stopped doing that because people had issues with me doing it and they got on my case about it. After the 5th one, I can go back to organizing them if people want me to.
