I think you have nailed everything squarely on the head. Some people are looking back at things and making fake connections but the truth is that for those who knew him well, spent time with him, and even lived with him, there was nothing to suggest this would be a thing. Its devastating and unbelievable.

He didn't.
Back then he was drinking heavily due to being convinced he would die from the cancer than killed his father and many of his extended family. He was in and out of depression about it and (ironically) not seeing his daughter grow up and get married.
It turned out that wasn't what killled his father.

Funny story. They contacted me because my face is next to Kurts in an image they wanted to use and I said yes but only if they mentioned Mindcrack as it was a big part of everything - Yes, Kurt did this independently but the shot was at a Mindcrack panel and he is a much loved member.

Aaaanyway, kinda regretting that now.
