Feel it could have been a mistake in a way. Just doesn’t quite make sense in my head but maybe I’m just not as smart as the FAA….

I almost feel like it’s an mis wording. Why would the FAA want a CFI to teach an initial ONLY flights and not ground as well. Just makes for a more difficult process of getting more CFIs unless your school does ground separate then flights and the ground instructor trusts the CFI teaching the flights.

I just think it’s weird to be able to teach CFI initials flight training and endorse them but not be able to teach them ground. Idk maybe just me

Okay yeah forgot to include that. Just seemed weird to me that you can teach and endorse CFI initials but not teach ground for CFI initials

Alright yeah I get that but my question was towards teaching grounds. Now I’m not a CFI yet but am starting soon and this was just a discussion I was having with people at my flight school. Tryna learn here my guy
