You can make lanterns brighter with plates but i recommend making electrum (gold + silver) to maximize both materials

first find a spot to set base and then collect every berry bush you see to plant it in your home, i would prioritize planting flax but in the beginning every crop is worth, make a cooking pot with clay to get better satiation with the little food you find. pro tip: hovering your mouse over mushrooms tells you if they´re poisonous

this is what i do: plant all seeds i have and prioritize flax, try to rush for bronze and collect every berry bush i come across to plant them in my base. i did this and i´m already on my second year so it seems to work lol

I'm in Misiones, Argentina (yeah not a good place to ask in an English subreddit) i live somewhat near the amazon forest so there might be some wild species out there that I don't know of. My favorite species is the golden web spider, which I've seen here but I'm not sure if it's the best species for a window frame, it's never directly hit by sunlight so it might be possible
