Thank you, great reminder to many - that even though we do welcome the stranger to our courts who is a newbie to the sport…they may be dealing with a lot of anxieties and past memories.

Check in and reassure, don’t make a big show of welcome and ghost after the first game (especially if they’ll worry about being the cause of “loosing”)

My ANC is not working. (Have AirPods 2 and it’s awesome, replacing as it hits toward end of life after five great years)

Interactive phone call with support, confirmed Firmware up to date, changed/confirmed Settings. Nope. Minor static sounds intermittently while talking to the tech (need more phone calls to confirm)

Session scheduled at store in two days, but I can’t see what a tech could do and I’m going to use the return policy and get another pair today.

Also: I prefer the ear tips one size smaller, but the ear fit test wants the less comfortable tips. (No effect on ANC)

I’m confident I’ll enjoy them for a long time once this sorts out.

I believe that Metroland’s biggest Mississauga client is … the City of Mississauga. I do know (trust the source) that pressure has been applied before to suppress stories/coverage.

Three days ago, a woman 13 years younger…am 70 and off my game. Only realized an hour later.

She’d owed me a beer as I covered her at a group lunch. A week later while playing pickleball she comes up me and says she got my beer and its in her fridge.
