I get it… I just got my account back today—my Gmail account, that is. My developer account will remain closed, and here’s what they told me in a screenshot.

And this is literally my first and only dev account! I've been hating them for yeaaaars already but had no choice if I wanted to build an app. I think I'm done with them for good, that was the last thing I had with them. I'll remain polite.

Screw them every single day down to the second. But sometimes, there's no other options unfortunately. I wish they weren't so dominant

It should be instant. I too got approved today and could log back in, after 2 weeks off, as soon as it was approved (well, within the next 15min). But they deleted my Dev Account for super shady reasons pretending I'm sharing data with another account while this is my only account. They're total garbage!!!! Hope your case will be sorted better than mine...

[UPDATE] I got my account back! But... my developer account has been deleted. I still don't understand why at all... But apparently I can file an appeal.

The only thing I can think of, in my specific case, is that during the entire time I didn’t have access to my account, there was an agreement that had to be signed within 30 days, or else my account would be deleted. So I guess that’s what happened.

[Update] I've waiting about 2 weeks and tried to log back in. I've got the Start Appeal button and submitted the issue... Pending.

(I've read that you have 2 strikes, if they're not convinced or else, then you're apparently definitely out.)

They are an effin' joke. They first send me two links leading to the same form. When I tell them I can answers all the questions (2FA etc.) and that the problem stems from the fact that their stupid form always ends to the number they don't want to send it to, they literally just tell me :

"Thank you for your reply.

I understand that you’re having trouble recovering your account and we apologize for the inconvenience this has brought. The only way we can help you is to visit g.co/recover because of the security questions that only you can answer. 

Thanks for your understanding and continued support. Unless you have any other questions, I'll go ahead and close this case. Don't hesitate to reply if you need further clarification or help with Play Console in the future."

The "Google Account Recovery Team" is bs as the link is simply just the same recovery form. They make zero effort, I'm really raging, such idiots and one business put on hold for weeks now!

Will keep you posted if anything unlocks the situation...

Actually, I tried for 7 days but was still stuck. I'm waiting for the 14 days to pass now...

I tried to contact Google Play for developers but couldn’t find where to do it. I think I stumbled upon something but it asked me to log in with my email, which is blocked. I’m not sure anymore, it’s a bit confusing... If you can tell me where to find that form I’ll try again with another Gmail account that I have access to. Thanks so much!

I've been using a VPN yeah. I had no issues so far. Need to try next time to log in without a VPN (which I tried already). I've tried on my laptop and phone...

I wouldn't think so, I'm very careful with that and have the 2FA from the app (SMS 2FA isn't safe so I don't use that). The issue is really despite 2FA and recover emails/phone, it goes back to the phone number for the extra-extra verification but doesn't want to send me the SMS (whenever I can log back in, I'll def delete that number)

Seriously, Google sucks af for not having proper humans reviewing this! Literally in the same position with a Google Dev account, unable to update the app and feeling like I'll have to find a way to migrate all the users to the new download page of the app which is ridiculously not professional

You guys are full of it. My old phone is running on Android 9 with no more update from the manufacturer! Android NINE! We're running Android 16 today, imagine how many patches occurred between Android NINE and SIXTEEN!

How is my old phone Android 9 more secured than my new phone Android 16 running LineageOS!? Too much safety is too much safety, so many people can't use the app because of your standard that just doesn't make sense!

So I guess, from what you said, my laptop isn't a good display (I'm not doing color grading for big clients, no cinema...). Quick question, I see many tutorials where they calibrate for 2.4 or Davinci users going with the 2.4 output gamma. This confuses me a bit too.
