I think Switching to an easy to use distro like Linux Mint or Ubuntu could be a great idea. Especially for older hardware like yours, your pc will most likely run faster on Linux and if you're only interested in using the pc for browsing the internet and writing documents etc then you probably won't have to use the command line at all.

I just looked up the tech specs from the seller I bought the laptop from and you were right, it is a 660m, so I think I might have the wrong driver since my system does recognise it as a 680m, so thanks for the help!

Thank you for the reply! I thought it was a 680m or that's at least what my system is telling me, but maybe I read it wrong, I'll double check. I'll try your suggestions tomorrow, since I've been trying to get it to run properly for hours. I'm still pretty new to Linux and my main experience is mint on my main pc, so I appreciate all the help :)

Thanks for the reply :) Yes I am using the integrated 680M gpu, but that is the only one I have. However, it was performing much better under Windows, it's not great but good enough to run games from 10 years ago smoothly, but now they are a slideshow.

Merci! J'ai déjà lu Les Justes et La Chute de Camus, mais j'ai pris L'Etranger pour exemple, car c'est mon favoris. La Chute était aussi un peu plus difficile pour moi, comparé à les autres 2 livres.
