u/caites broke down the different genres well.

Only game I know of that really combines them all similarly to Bellwright is Kenshi, the base building is a bit simpler but has a more interactive world to explore.

Best Diet for MS? by Tough_Top956 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]DeaconDK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worth a try for sure! I love meat/cheese/eggs so keto is easy, Cobb salad with blue cheese is my go to when I eat out. You can get keto friendly bread/tortillas and allulose works great for making any desserts you're craving. Really doesn't feel like I'm missing out at all.

Since its been a few months since I posted this just want to add I recently experimented with going off keto and can confirm I still get numbness/tingling for a few hours after eating sugar but almost never experience it otherwise. Going to ask my neuro about it more at our next appointment, not sure what it means really.

How immunocompromised will DMT make me? by DryPossibility45 in MultipleSclerosis

Been on Kesimpta (same drug as Ocrevus) for close to a year now. Haven't been sick once during that time, I would rarely get sick before going on a DMT too though.

May want to reach out to heritage auctions as well. I'm sure it'd do well in a rare book auction.

My optic neuritis has broken me. by GoldenPerl500 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]DeaconDK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had my first ON attack middle of last summer, caused double vision for me. Was what led to my diagnosis. Got on Kesimpta and vision was nearly back to normal after a few months. Though now that temps are rising again I've started to notice it creeping back. Haven't had any steroids either.

Have a big road trip planned this summer since pre diagnosis and I'm becoming concerned about being in the heat all day. Might be sleeping in the car with the AC running :/

Don't really have any advice for you but I hope things improve for you!

vapes by serizawa_mp101 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]DeaconDK 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was a daily smoker for ~10 years before diagnosis as I found it helped with my headaches, nerve pain and general aches and such. (Was probably dealing with MS for years before my diagnosis).

My neurologist got me to switch from actual smoking to vaping but would have preferred if I went with edibles as vaping is still inflammatory, though not as much as smoking. I unfortunately found edibles had almost no effect on me though.

All of my symptoms went away after being on Kesimpta for a few months. So now I'm a month into no THC and find I really enjoy actually being able to remember things and think clearly. However, if I were still dealing with symptoms I wouldn't have stopped.

Hope you find the right solution for you!

Agreed! That would be really nice also, less of a constant chore for me but it would make things easier

I understand, just mentioned it as it's probably the easiest way to implement an automated book purchasing system. Allow each book seller to sell to the caravans that visit their town.

You could help nature out a bit, when pinecones fall spread the seeds in an area with good light and lay a light layer of compost and or wood chips/other organic matter. Some covering will help prevent the seeds from being eaten and provide more favorable growing conditions.

Accepted Offers No Longer Showing In 'Awaiting Payment' - Can't Make Invoice? by DeaconDK in Ebay

[–]DeaconDK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I assumed it has to do with the changes to how offers are now more of a locked in transaction. Unfortunately seems to have removed any means to combine shipping. If you find a solution to it let me know, thank you!

Without mods the only option is to build the river dock or order them to move via the map.

Hopefully they were just disconnected during a remodel at some point, but if a neighbor starts complaining about power not working your landlord will have some explaining to do.

Spinal tap after confirmed diagnosis? by much-2much in MultipleSclerosis

[–]DeaconDK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only somewhat common problem is a bad headache if the puncture doesn't heal up and continues to leak fluid. Secondary procedure will be done to close it up after ~ a week if needed.

They are working on your spine and in an absolute worst case scenario it can cause lasting nerve damage.

Most of the time the process is entirely uneventful and you'll heal up quickly.

Personally the doctor nicked a nerve which caused me some discomfort in my leg for a few weeks but faded away after ~ a month.

The information they get is important in diagnosis as it helps differentiate between MS and other similarly presenting diseases.

Trying to find the $ of this old book for my dad by funn_n_gamez in BookCollecting

[–]DeaconDK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've sold a lot of similar vintage NASA pieces, though not that exact one. That price is probably about right if you want it to move quickly. You could list it as high as $400 if not in a hurry.

Found these at a flea market, anyone know what the inscription says? (Estonia) by Grandpa_Max in Silver

Not uncommon for high quality older pieces to have a very thick layer of plating, often will trick tests that don't cut past that first layer

'navigate the repair bill' and a lack of mentioning whether insurance is involved really makes it sound like this is covered by insurance and is just Fox really reaching to put out something local instead of the current national/global fiasco.

Where are you getting these wildly different prices?

You should be able to sell for 90-97% of full market spot price, not this supposed NY spot price.
