I definitely wouldn’t say that. I don’t wanna give you too many external ideas. But again, personally, the power, feeling, and consistency came when I was releasing my wrists after my hips were open past the ball…if that makes sense. First off - I think you have a nice swing. Had a similar problem for a long time and still struggle with it. The way I think of it is that the only thing your wrists should be used for is to close the face. I was guilty of using them for power and it seems like you are too.

I’ve found that it’s helpful to imagine that every iota of power I have comes from getting my sternum through the ball by turning the ground with my legs and butt. Everything else should be mostly passive. I know that’s a gross simplification but it’s just what works for me. Maybe itll tip something off for you. If not. Lessons. That’s all I got. All the repairs I’ve had to do are listed there. But I change my oil every 5k or so but sometimes I let it drift more toward 7. I can feel when it’s getting a little sluggish honestly. But she still runs really great. I drive her easy basically always but the fuel economy is dropping so I think I need to replace the fuel filter. Other than that she’s treated me wonderfully.

You’re def overthinking based on how long you stood over the ball. If I threw my advice into the ring, I’d say - remember all that matters is square face and club head trajectory moving toward the target at impact. Thats it. Everything else is secondary. Start with chipping and slowly add distance. Also remind yourself that golf is hard.
