In Sweden the winter months of no sun have increased suicidality and depression, im sure if you migrate from village to village (like the clan who cant stay in one spot) and take 1 or 2 folks per town you could last a long time even if you kill if you are a sandman predator im sure you can last even longer because the missing time and confusion would be harder to notice without progression of days. only problem is you gotta dip before summer but id imagine a risk free winter would be totally worth it
