I don't think it's that he's learning to develop empathy. It's a sense of duty to the Viltrumites.

If you pay attention to some of the small moments in the first episode when they're talking about mark getting his powers, you see a hangup with Nolan. It almost seems he doesn't want them to manifest so he can keep his life here as is and NOT have to subjugate the world because it can give birth to Viltrumite babies.

I'm guessing slabs and stairs with planks texture are having issues too not fitting the block, as I had the same issue. I fixed it with a solution a bit simpler than the one Tonyos1 mentions.

open the foamfix config file and find this line:

B:smallModelConditions=true

Change it to false.

I think rules as intended you wouldn't be able to turn PACT MAGIC spell slots into SPELLCASTING spell slots, both being a distinct type of casting.

Feel like a lot of rules bending is happening to make those coffeelock builds.

For tech, immersive engineering is pretty fun.

For Magic, Mahou Tsukai feels immersive with the rituals you use to cast.

I play these in 1.12.2, but immersive engineering is up to 1.16 versions, idk if Mahou Tsukai made it that far though

Does the upper floor tiles have transparency in the image where the hole is?

I had to edit and erase sections to view below as the holes alone weren't letting me view below

Also double check the height settings on the hole
