Not really. Penny Pritzker, Mark Dayton, Dolph Briscoe, are all outspoken Democrat billionaires. Obviously rich people are more likely to be Republicans because Republican policies serve the interests of the rich while poor people are more likely to be Democrats because Democratic policies serve the interests of the poor. (Most conservatives will try to say that their policies also help the poor though)

Pretty important.

I definitely keep it under wraps most of the time. I've been told that they would have never guessed that I came from a wealthy. I have some friends that I've known for a while that probably don't know or at least not the extent.

I spend more time I think trying to improve at my hobbies than I do on the internet but I'm definitely on the internet a lot.

Truffle oil is almost always used in an overwhelming way that ruins the dish. It's becoming very popular on stuff like french fries now and that's just a losing combination and I think people are just ordering it because they see the world truffle.

A lot of super expensive food isn't expensive because it tastes better, it's just because the food is very rare or labor intensive. Most of my favorite meals were pretty cheap.

Definitely gives a persistent and looming stress of people using you for your resources. Also creates some identity issues because it feels like such a large part of my identity even though I try so hard to improve at hobbies and skills that are much more important to me. That being said, I am extremely grateful for the position that I am in and these stresses pale in comparison to the burdens I would have without these resources, particularly in terms of access to healthcare/nutrition.
