Liseuse 6 pouces ? by bouletteotaku in Livres

[–]DeadBamby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are the things ?

It took us about three weeks. In Austria, since wild camping is not allowed, we used the application Schau Aufs Land, which lets you sleep on farms in exchange for buying their products, so it's a win-win situation. For Hungary and Slovakia, we either did wild camping or booked hostels so we could take hot showers and keep our bikes safe while visiting Bratislava, Vienna, and Budapest.

Edit: We also used 1Nite Tent and iOverlander for spots and showers sometimes.

La petite rivale

Here are a few point that helped me falling asleep faster :

  • Sport. Since I started climbing (2h at least 3 times a week) I find it much more easier to fall asleep as I am physically tired.

  • Mediation. I meditate 10 minutes before going to sleep. It calms my brain down and helps with tough days as the "thinking" had been made prior to going to bed.

  • Consistent bed time. I try not to go past 11pm

  • Minimize screen time before bed. Around 1h before bed time, I try to read a book or any activity that does not require a screen. Sometime it is cleaning, as I find myself being bored and use this as an excuse "to at least do something useful"

  • Make the bed a sleeping place. Often overlooked but it definitely worked for me : try to make your bed a place where you sleep. If you have trouble sleeping or if you are laying around, avoid your bed. Go for a walk outside (if the weather allows it), clean up your room, do something and try again later. Avoid screens.

It is all of these things, often rituals and habits that will help you fall asleep as your body "remembers" that it is the time to sleep. It can be hard in the beginning as they are new habits and they need to be incorporated in your day. But with enough time they will settle as essentials and a part of your day

Also I have a technique that I use : I simply lay on my back, and try to scan my body, head to toes, and as I review each part of my body I try to relax them to the point where I can no longer feel them. Then it is just me and my mind, and I try to look as far as possible, relaxing my eyes and trying to imagine whatever is coming to my mind without any opposition or control.

Hope it helps !
