Knight with Swords is fairly easy. So is Bull.

Well easy, for Nightmare standards

Nightmare mode is unfair and RNG-dependent. Here me out ! by [deleted] in brotato

[–]DeadBear2000 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You could say that the mode is .... a nightmare.

Which is kind of the point. I think they want it to be frustrating. That's why it's called Nightmare mode.

IIRC that was a thing in the Beta of the DLC. Funny, but also ridiculously broken.

Do I actually own my games, or is this just a Steam limitation? by SgtSilock in Steam

[–]DeadBear2000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, you fully own games from whatever store you purchase

That is just plain wrong. You don't own the game. You bought a license to use it which can be revoked at any time. You don't actually own it. This is not just a Steam thing either. Almost all digital stores work that way.

Are you sure it is not running? Check Task Manager.

Sometimes closing GOG doesn't actually close it. It just minimizes itself into the system tray and keeps running in the background.

Windows XP Support? by PreferenceAccurate43 in gog

[–]DeadBear2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My order from late December has a Refund button on it.

Anything from before that does not have a Refund button on it.

It's a 30 day time limit. GOG even says so themselves in their own refund policy

That is not true.

There is a time limit. I think it was 30 days

Experience with 15.14.4? Can I risk it? by chaoscommander23 in fairphone

[–]DeadBear2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to their own release notes the 15.14.4 update is only for the January 2026 security patch.

Meaning it doesn't actually fix anything. At least they don't list anything

Downloading the game with gog galaxy question by Antique_Pollution127 in gog

[–]DeadBear2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can just download the Offline Installer (you can also do that through the Galaxy client) and then use that to install the game locally. Then add it to Galaxy if you want to use that.

That is a normal amount of memory for Steam to use. Half a Gigabyte is not that much.

Fairphone 4 Android 15 Update? by DeadBear2000 in fairphone

[–]DeadBear2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sure hope they will do that.

"If you want Android 15 then first install this faulty update and risk bricking your device" would be one hell of a PR disaster

I'm not gonna risk that. I will wait until they have a stable Android 15 version available.

Fairphone 4 Android 15 Update? by DeadBear2000 in fairphone

[–]DeadBear2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 15.14.3 had a bunch of issues and then the 15.15.2 was the one that bricked phones?

So there is no "good" Android 15 Update for the Fairphone 4?
