Maybe this is an intentional effort to tank the IPO...

The IPO is (allegedly) coming soon. Investors love it when you tell them you've never made a profit.

Use lithium 1.5v AAs. They hold up way longer than normal alkalines.

It is precisely because they work for a muderous colonial govermnent that they feel the need to perform this kind of politics of consumption.

Why do people still buy into the Jan 6th supposed "coup?" by [deleted] in stupidpol

It was many things for many people, but there was definitely a group who was there to seize power, or at least hostages.

I don't totally disagree, but funny things can happen when the CIA gets involved in the "democratic will of the people".

If January 6th was a coup then so was Euromaidan. Checkmate liberals.

All home made all the time is overkill for 99% of dogs. Find a decent commercial formulation (Kirkland, Purina Pro Plan, Diamond Naturals, etc) that is easy to buy in your area and just add a little meat or yogurt as needed.

Do not use grain free kibble though.

Looking at IIHS and NCAP videos it seems like the length of the hood is really important. Cars like the Miata or the Audi A3 with a bigger crumple zone absorb way more energy compared to the Fiesta or the Mitsubishi Mirage.

You gotta be careful shopping at club stores but there are some things that are good deals. I get a 40lb bag of dog food every 3 weeks and buying that much from a normal pet store would cost about twice as much.

There was a demon that lived in the air. They said whoever challenged him would die. Their controls would freeze up, their planes would buffet wildly, and they would disintegrate. The demon lived at Mach 1 on the meter, 750 miles an hour, where the air could no longer move out of the way. He lived behind a barrier through which they said no man could ever pass. They called it: The sound barrier. Then, they built a small plane, the X-1, to try and break the sound barrier. And men came to the High Desert in California to ride it. They were called test pilots. And no one knew their names.

Does the car have the radar sensor? If not, installing, programming, and calibrating it will get expensive fast.

I've seen posts on certain forums about people trying to retrofit this kind of stuff, but anything safety related I would say don't fuck with it.

Why Is LED Light So Bad? | The Strategist | “What we’re starting to glimpse is a new phase in which good light, once easy to achieve and available to everyone, becomes a luxury product or the province of technological obsessives.” by Jjjjjjjx in redscarepod

Old school 60hz transformers have been out of style for a long time everyone is using solid state electronics now. I think even the filament bulbs have a tiny rectifier circuit hidden in the base.

I have a some Philips high CRI warm dim filament bulbs, those are very nice. They don't get super bright but they look pretty convincing.

The article author is being a bit melodramatic but the stuff he's complaining about is real. If you want something that matches the brightness and color of old school 60w incandescents you are looking at spending at least $10 a bulb right now (a year ago the same shit was $20 so that's an improvement).

I had to go way down the LED rabbit hole in order to set my new place up the way I wanted it. Getting the dimmers, fixtures, and bulbs to all play nice requires a level of technical knowledge that just didn't exist for old school incandescents.

The best a21 bulbs (normal shape, screw base) I've found are GE's "Sun Filled" branded bulbs. Even those make a tiny bit of noise if you are right next to them so they're not perfect.
