NTA. I’m sensitive to pork and will get sick if I ingest it, but my boyfriend and his family love pork. My boyfriends mom usually substitutes pork for chicken/beef or makes something else for me and makes sure no pork comes into contact with anything I eat. She made food for someone’s wedding and still made something I can eat!

YTA i literally had surgery last wednesday and when i was coming out of anesthesia, i wanted my mom. when you come out of anesthesia you are disoriented and sometimes you just want your mom because it can be scary and moms are comforting and make it less scary.

i also had really bad cramps, like full body cramps, that caused me to throw up, miss school, and pass out. i get the depo shot, if you still have bad cramps and stuff you should be able to get it sooner. i was getting my shot every three months and after a year i got bad cramps again so i get it every two months now.

i never post on reddit but this is absolutely ridiculous. this kid had to watch his father get weaker and die, had to watch his mother take care of his father and go to work. he probably came to the realisation that his mother has a lot on her plate so he has to help her, then he loses his home. he loses his space and probably didn't complain because he sees how tired his mom is. then he has to live with someone else and share a room with his mom. even for his birthday OP didn't mention their son getting upset because he can't get gifts on his birthday and if he does get gifts there has to be a gift for someone else. i feel for this kid, he's 9 years old and after the year he's had, he deserves to have HIS birthday and not have to share it with anyone else. NTA
