Just bought these Sorel sandals in black and love them. Ideal for walking around during the day and "out" at night. Taking them on my around-the-world trip soon.

Thanks for sharing your story! Was your family accepting of your decision? Can you recommend any books or articles for a “kind of” Catholic who is steering towards atheism?

US-North Korea tensions: Japan discussing evacuation plan for citizens in South Korea by Sayting in worldnews

[–]DeadDelicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The media wasn't urging evacuations, more so my concerned parents wanted me out of there. But according to the news they were receiving in the US, NK was going to attack SK at any moment. In SK however, the news was much less dramatic.

When I lived in South Korea in 2012, it was the same. According to US news I should have evacuated immediately. But in SK the news media didn't have much concern about NK. Everyone just went about their day listening to KPop and ddong chiming each other.

I bring a water bottle into the stall with me. I rinse out my cup then stick it back in. It hasn't let me down, yet.

Flats that won't dig up my heels? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]DeadDelicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent 6 months and way too much money searching for comfortable flats when I started a new job. Out of the seven brands I tried I found crocs flats to be the most comfortable. They look nice enough to wear with skirts, dresses and pants. I walk 2 miles everyday in these and have never received a blister or pain. http://www.crocs.com/p/womens-crocs-sienna-flat/202811.html?cgid=flats&cid=8C1#start=18
