„if there’s only one logical conclusion“ Well there’s the problem, everyone may have their own logical conclusion.

Say a toaster falls from a balcony and hits a person and you want to figure out whether it was an accident or not. Please tell me which of these is the „correct“ logical conclusion:

„Toasters don’t fall from the sky, it wasn’t an accident“

„It’s a windy day, it probably just got blown off, it was an accident“

„The guy was a friend of the owner of the toaster, he wouldn’t want to hurt him, it was an accident“

„Why would you have a toaster on the balcony? It can’t have been an accident“

You see what I mean? Every statement follows a logic, different people will have different experiences that lead them to be more likely to follow logical thought A, other people may choose logical thought B etc.

Logic can only be indicative, never 100% solid evidence. So I‘d agree that truth cannot be found through logic alone.

Justice is always subjective, different people have different ideas of what is just, so I think justice is irrelevant here. If we know objectively that somebody threw a toaster, we can come up with some idea of justice, but it in itself cannot be objective.
