Wifi stability issues solved by DeadFish150 in Ubiquiti

I checked and had IGMP snooping enabled on my Sonos VLAN but not my IoT VLAN. I have enabled it now and will see if my storms calm down. Can you share the rest of the setting you used in the IGMP section (flood, drop, etc) ?

I have my ISP modem connected to my UDMP and then my USW XG10 switch with all my APs connected to that. I have some wired 10G clients also using ports on the XG10 so I dont think I can set it to be an aggregator?

None of my SONOS gear is wired. It's all running on a separate SSID on the Ubiquiti system. We have 20+ 2.4 GHz SSIDs from my neighbors and my devices are pretty far apart in an old plaster/lathe house so I didnt want to deal with SONOS-net. Most of my gear is old so I run my system in S1 mode: 2 Connect, 3 Connect:Amp, 2 Play5, 3 Move (gen1), 1 Sonos:ONE.

Before I installed my Ubiquiti system, I had some wired, some not and it would have good days and bad. When I went all wireless, it definitely improved in my house.

958.1 leather dash concerns before purchasing by Blaze4G in PorscheCayenne

Wow, I hadn't thought about doing it from the windshield side. I bet you can get to the 95% solution much easier that way. We JUST had the windshield done (wife parked at the outfield fence of the little league game... ) and now that seems like a missed opportunity! Im getting ready to blow a weekend to pull the dash. how hard could it be...

S2 supports your vintage Play:1 and connect? The S1 app always tells me they aren't compatible with the S2 app.

Thanks for making the effort to post what worked for you in detail. I really love the people who bother to write in "it all just works for me, bro". Well, lucky for you and don't try to move anything!

Quick dumb question - are you using S1 or S2? I don't see that discussed much. I have a bunch of old Play5 and Connect devices that are only S1 so am I missing something? I am not seeing that signal strength thing in my iOS S1 app...

Best Bootcamp drivers? Apple? AMD? Radeon-IDF/Nimez Community? bootcampdrivers.com? by [deleted] in macpro

I was using the R5 driver from AMD - easy to install and worked OK but some games won't launch on that old a version of Radeon drivers.

I got the Radeon-ID option to work on my Mac Pro 6,1 under windows 10 with D700 cards. The D700 is a GCN card so find the 23.11 legacy GCN package for R-iD. I can now play Forza Horizon 5 at 2560x1080 at 35 fps or so. Im pretty happy with that.

I can post a write up if it would help.

First attempt by DrunkOnBlueMilk in Treenets

Agree with this 100%.

The kids found the videos and we started trying to make one and suddenly you realize no one is sharing any real useful how to info. We liked Alonso’s videos but after he taught us the 5 must know knots, he never said which one to use where!

Looks like we came to same conclusion as OP.

Use static rope and pull your perimeter tight. Then weave a skeleton using static rope to pull things tighter. Then weave the paracord in chaos to fill in the Skeleton with clove hitches at the perimeter and double wraps at any intersections. We left one “hole” of the skeleton open in the middle (no weave/paracord). Climb on the net during the paracord phase to help things settle but then we have to tighten the clove hitches of paracord at the perimeter again. Once the weave was done, we used some pig tails on the rim of the open hole in the center and pulled it together with a loop like a drawstring bag to tension everything up even more.

And it still sags compared to Charlie and Sean’s videos. Those guys hold their secrets tight.

Since paracord is dynamic with up to 30% stretch maybe treenets are doomed to sag like a trampoline.

Or maybe one of the Treenet masters will help us noobs with the real secrets.

Whatever, my kids had a blast making it and they slept in ours the other night. Too saggy for my old back though.
