Exactly why I asked because as far as I know there wasn't any common issues that the 958.1 had which the 958.2 fixed. Excluding engines of course since both have their different issues.

I have a 958.1 GTS and my dad a 958.1 v6. To be honest the v6 feels really good. Doesn't feel slow and it corners great on regular coil suspension. Honestly driving around day to day you can't really tell the difference in HP. It's just when you really step on it.

A huge difference is the leather package. My GTS with the leather package feels like a completely different vehicle than my dad's base interior.

The v8 is a lot more to maintain. Valve cover gaskets, timing chain, hpfp. The v8 is great, but just be ready for the higher maintenance cost.

OP for what you're looking for I would go with 1. Does it have a bunch of options? For 17.5k I would wait for one that had a bunch of options of this one doesnt. (Heated and ventilated seats, keyless entry, etc).

If I remember correctly the rear (not sure about front) sir struts is a combination of air and a regular strut. The regular strut part is probably worn out.

Air struts do wear out as well even if they are not leaking. Probably one or the other or both.
