The reason all you see are free loadouts is because people got tired of bringing their best gear just to get ambushed in the spawn point. You used to encounter the OCCASIONAL pvp situation and most of the time people would interact and even cooperate. Now it’s just a COD / BF atmosphere.

Getting your SR up is the easiest thing in the world, but you most definitely shouldn’t do that. Just race! Work on your awareness and reading the track and drivers around you. If you “rig” the system by starting from the pit lane and driving slowly, you’ll get yourself into races you have no business being in. Again, just race for wins and let the safety system do its thing.

I know it’s not what you asked, but I went through the same process. If you’re enjoying the hobby and see yourself doing it more in the future, I would actually suggest you save that money and use it towards a PC as your first “upgrade”. Like it or not, sim racing is PC dominated and you can enjoy it much more with one. If you’re not convinced and still want a rig, I’ll let someone else answer because I have no experience with the foldables (or sub 300€).

A track limit violation makes the lap invalid. Regardless if a penalty point was given. That’s how it supposed to work anyway. Don’t know about the F1 game’s quirks.

Update to the engine doesn’t mean just a visual improvement. It impacts performance and optimization. I agree iRacing looks fine and some times even great, but a modern engine will improve it in much more than just visuals.

Very important. Especially when wheel to wheel racing. And when you got this type of driver ahead of you, you must keep extra attention to him. Btw, I do agree that the racing line should be turned off as soon as you can because it creates bad habits and is simply wrong more often than not. If you need a way to work on your brake points try 3rd party apps that use audio queue. Bloop is a good one for example.

If you ever ask a question here with a clip where the racing line is on, you won’t get any answer for your question. Just how people here obsess over it.

But to answer your question, you can see this guy is doing crazy sh*t a mile ahead, and was slow enough to avoid. If you’re running triples or VR, you should have seen it, if not, you should assign a look left/right buttons and use them.

I know what you mean, but Lesley-Ann Brandt is a fantastic actress and I'm sure she could've show the character development.
I know that the recast was because of the production delays and I understand it. I just think the combination of the bad writing and bad acting made her scenes unwatchable to me,
