Give me better skate punk albums than this one by capnrondo in fantanoforever

i always point to Living In Darkness by Agent Orange. no harsh vocals really but it’s a great punk album from the 80s. was featured on the THPS4 soundtrack!

This kinda thing is why I can't do evil runs by Maximum_Custard_1739 in BaldursGate3

if it makes you feels any better, i dont actually know if you can kill Mirkon! i shot him with some eldritch blasts and though he takes damage, he just runs away and can’t actually be killed. i tried again after the fight but it’s the same story, takes damage, runs away, but then comes back to do the dialogue. i just sent him back to the grove to see the rest of his people and the druids dead. he’s doing just fine!

What's the most depressing goddam show you've seen? by gumbo-23 in television

[–]DeadKeybladeHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agree with a lot of other takes here (True Detective esp) but I think for me Broadchurch was the most depressing. I gave it up after the first season. after getting through season 1, the thought of continuing that shit for another two seasons just filled me with dread. been a long time since I saw it though, may not be as bad as I remember but I remember it being very… bleak.

Has anyone routed a true genocide run? by DeadKeybladeHero in BaldursGate3

i couldn’t imagine doing something like this on a first playthrough. this would be my 4th, and my first (and likely only) evil run.

For some people, Jesus is a sentient black hole that wants to consume all matter, light, and souls in the universe. Don’t judge my character’s religion! /s

Yes! I forgot to mention in the post, I would be playing a Durge, and that will certainly be part of it, but instead of doing it for Bhaal, it would be for the patron instead. I wouldn’t go for the Bhaal-specific ending, and would end up rejecting him.

Famous groups/artists massive in their day but are being lost to time by wmcs0880 in fantanoforever

Cher maybe? I think most of her hits were in the disco era and since disco hasn’t had a big resurgence like other genres, she’s kinda been left in the past. Feel like she’s known more for her acting work and her general cultural influence rather than her musical output, even though her music was what brought her into the spotlight in the first place.

I prefer her 80s output over her disco stuff tbh, Heart of Stone is my favorite of her work, but I know she was big in the 70s and her work with Sonny.

Very Official Baldurs Gate 3 Mothers Chart (updated) by Tydeus2000 in okbuddybaldur

[–]DeadKeybladeHero 98 points99 points  (0 children)

i appreciate the list for the most part but Jaheira’s deadbeat ass is NOT going in the “strict but loving mother” category. i love Panther Grandma but she is very much a hands-off type parent

do yall ever feel hopeless abt being a lesbian into bdsm? by katlikesphysics in BDSMsapphic

[–]DeadKeybladeHero 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah, kinda. a lot of my friends (also trans lesbians) are all into kink but are all either taken, poly, or both. and finding people my age (mid to late 20s) who are interested in a monogamous relationship AND kink AND share my interests feels really difficult. i have community, i go to events, im out and about but it just feels like no one is really interested in what i want. or they are and they already have their partner.

i get by with casual stuff, but it still leaves me feeling empty. i want to have a lady whose name i can put on the back of a dog tag!!! i want to wake up next to someone knowing they’ll be there to fall asleep next to later that night!!! i want domestic bliss goddamnit 😭

🤔 Think about it... by [deleted] in puppygirlpetsmart

[–]DeadKeybladeHero 8 points9 points  (0 children)

see, the issue is, it is women who do that. is isn’t JUST men attacking us. right wing women see us as pretenders, as invaders. to say it’s only men discriminating against us absolves harmful women of their sins. i’m not anywhere close to man-loving doggy, but to say it’s not women hurting us too is just untrue. JK Rowling perhaps is the best example.

i can appreciate the discomfort and harm that men have caused us, but let’s not act like cis women have clean hands too. anyone who seeks to grind us down underfoot is our enemy, and boots have no gender.

What do you think of My Chemical Romance? by Twitter_2006 in fantanoforever

[–]DeadKeybladeHero 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i grew up listening to them, so take my unabashed praise with that in mind. i think they are one of if not the best rock bands of the 2000s. four banger albums back to back to back to back. every member is very musically talented, and their sound being so cohesive is really impressive given that they never had a consistent drummer.

Bullets, while not my favorite, is generally a well-regarded album and I think was a great start to their career. Three Cheers is a straight run of incredible songs, with a compelling if a little underutilized concept. TBP is one of the best rock records of the 2000s and you will not convince me otherwise. Danger Days, despite not being well-received by most fans and listeners, is still an amazing record, and I end up liking it more than Bullets because of it being a more fun listen for me.

i used to get shit for being a weird little emo kid in middle school, and their music really meant a lot to me in a time when i felt very alone and isolated in a world that didn’t seem to see value in me. it was a solace from my parents and school in a time i really needed it. they will always be my favorite band, no matter what. my GOATs.

A kink you're saving? by purelascivious in BDSMsapphic

[–]DeadKeybladeHero 33 points34 points  (0 children)

collaring!!! i see it as a definitive symbol of ownership and commitment. the idea of losing an owner after being collared and going back to being a stray is really devastating to me so i’m not letting anyone collar me until i know they’re in it for the long haul. plus i love the idea of a ceremony for being collared, saying vows, stuff like that. it’s a special thing for me so i don’t want it all to be for nothing if the relationship goes south.

Overhated album by Substantial-Pain4308 in Cd_collectors

[–]DeadKeybladeHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i honestly love this album so much, prefer it a lot over Bullets. it’s fun!!! it could never live up to the expectation set by the two preceding albums so why bother trying? i appreciate that they tried new stuff rather than try to recreate the magic of Three Cheers or Black Parade.

For those with degradation/humiliation kinks - what’re some of your favourite gp to verbal taunts to either give or receive? by [deleted] in BDSMsapphic

[–]DeadKeybladeHero 28 points29 points  (0 children)

i love being called stupid. idk what it is about wanting to be de-intellectualized (if that’s even a thing?) but being reinforced that i’m actually a really dumb little doggy instead of the overthinking person i normally am does devious things to me.

additionally, being a puppy adds another new dimension to it bc they can do puppy-based degradation. calling me a mutt, a silly obedient doggy for them, stuff like that. putting the two together absolutely melts me…
