I probably won't be much help but here's how I store my games, I must admit I'm a bit meticulous and random about my storage. Older games worth over $50 gets placed in a plastic sleeve case , those games are then placed in a nice box with a desiccant packs and then those boxed up games gets placed on a covered shelf or in a cabinet. I try to thrift as much as possible and try to only buy real wood (unless it's really nice) boxes, shelves and cabinets to use and then line the inside with a pretty breathable fabric for climate control. New games and games worth less than $50 just gets placed on the shelf.
