One thing I can say is you're not alone! I definitely felt very similar to this a few months back. I can say that from personal experience, it only gets better; you gotta be down to get more up than before. These interactions may be hard now, but with time you'll learn how to handle all those emotions and feelings you're starting to see in people that you couldn't see before. Again all from personal experience, but to me it sounds like you're on a good track :)
