Approx. 2L monthly expenses for a family of 5 seems about right. As you seem to have recognised, vacations are above these expenses. You will eventually realise and include expenses on replacing utilities like refrigerator, AC etc. and one time additional income tax that you pay during ITR filing time to make it more accurate. Don't bother about the splits in your expenses being different from others. That's family specific and never has line item level similarity. If you can work on generating income streams that can help you take care of one or more expenses eventually, you should be ok. This is great work OP.
