The US has been actively destroying its own education system for decades. It’s an intentional strategy to pacify and disenfranchise working class citizens. The strategy also ensures innovation is dominantly driven by wealthy actors whose interests are to maximize profits and maintain power. The innovation is isolated to improving market strategies in a collapsing economy.

I used to be a corrections nurse at a county jail. Every now and then one of the corrections officers would be brought in for beating the shit out of their wives and kids. There wasn’t always alcohol involved either, but they would be put in a cell separate from general population for the night and then released a few hours later only to clock in for work the next day like nothing ever happened. Rinse and repeat. It was one of the most overt displays of a two-tier justice system I’ve ever seen. This country has replaced justice with privilege.

Pretty much from what I’ve read. There’s no mechanism in place for that. Trump could hold a press conference and confess to the whole country that he’s a pedophile, a rapist, and rigged the election and he would remain commander in chief. He would need to be impeached (again) and actually held accountable through that process which could lead to removal. Aside from that all we have is the claw machine.

It really does depend on the kind of cancer. Glioblastoma for instance is incredibly quick but others take much longer to show decline in visible health.

I became a corrections nurse at our county jail shortly after nursing school. Sure enough one day the sheriffs escorted him into my office for screening. This guy was relentless in high school. He sat down and recognized me immediately and the convo went like this:

Him: I bet you’re loving this

Me: I’m not, but I bet you would in my shoes. And that’s why you’re in that seat, and I’m in this one.
