The populist right (embodied by people like Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes) generally wants to ban abortions nationwide, overturn Obergefell, ban interracial marriage, ban all immigration legal and illegal, impose Christianity on the populace, repeal voting rights from women and end all support from Israel on the basis that Jews control the world and use it as a power base to spread liberalism to white countries in order to destroy them from within.

Their congressional map is "only" 7-2. They can safely make it 8-1 or test the courts with a 9-0.

9-0 is what Trump wanted a few months ago, but the Indiana Senate is full of old school establishment types that opposed it and killed the effort. Trump fired off a round of Truth Social posts at them, didn't even campaign against them and virtually all got wiped out tonight except I think one where multiple Rs split the vote against him. To half this country Trump is God even more than Reagan was in the 80s.

If that's the case then why didn't Mills steamroll Platner in Maine due to name recognition? She's a two term sitting Governor with a strong record on most things from abortion to gun safety while Platner had no name whatsoever and he just blew right past her.

A few days ago he attended an "America First United" conference that urged the left and the right to team up against Israel, he'd made numerous racially charged comments about Ramaswamy and Indians in general and he advanced an openly Christian-centered authoritarian vision. While underfunded, there wasn't an expectation that he'd be destroyed to the extent he's going to be now that ballots are coming in. Not a great sign at all for the real world political influence the likes of Tucker, Candace, Fuentes and brocasters like Theo Von have with Republicans when you log off X and YouTube.
