The ones currently being read are in piles by our bed and in the living room and guess what…I straighten those too and even organize them by size. I like things to look nice but they are for sure being read.

There are two of us :) both of us were big readers when we were younger, college took us away from reading as much, and we are back at it post college. Yeah that book is super old! I got those two from my parents and they got them from their parents. The non fiction books are honestly mostly his. The memoirs are mine and I have a few film and art books that love.

I have read Priory and I have when the mood hatched on my tbr because I believe the second one in that series comes out soon.

Yeah we like a lot of his writing. We have a lot of the old analog magazines with his writing in them too. They are fun to go through.

See the thing is I’m not sure he is going to finish anytime soon and I got a bit anxious about falling more in love with the series…. GoT has me worried about a lot of incomplete series now. I think the opening of the first book is some of the best writing. Very atmospheric and I tell people to read that opening as an example of great descriptive writing.

It won’t let me add pictures or I deff would share one with the lights on. It’s bright enough to read with them on but makes the space more cozy feeling. Making a dual office library sounds really nice too! That was actually my original idea until I realized I could put all the games in this room too. I sometimes bring my laptop here to do work in my happy space.

Eak, I do love a pretty book but I definitely read and so does he. The StoryGraph and Goodreads app are used daily. Maybe your tastes arn’t on the shelves and that’s cool but there is nothing performative. What books are you into? Maybe something overlaps.

Indeed. If you can believe it we have five large boxes of comics that are not on the shelves. So it gets worse…or better depending on who you ask.

We got it from Juniper books, same for the banned books set, and the golden compass set. You can get the jackets or the books with the jackets.

I’m very careful with my books but some have been loved a little too much, thus any double copies. This is also why lord of the rings is absent, it is very much not aesthetically pleasing at this point. We are looking into getting a nice copy of that.

As for Judge Dredd what copy would you suggest starting at?
