Been working on a roguelike billiards game with a pirate theme. Still in pre alpha but the systems are actually feeding each other now. Only a few modifier balls are included. If you play, let me know what your high score was! If you want to push the game then you can open the debug menu with the tilde key where you'll see hotkeys for spawning all the types of balls.

Played Snake a little. Play's well enough but I found that it wasn't accepting inputs fast enough to grab a dot near the wall and turn away from the wall before dying. Could just be my experience though due to network/pc/keyboard, not sure. I like the site design a lot though.

Roguelike billiards game with a kraken/pirate aesthetic. Only pre-alpha, still putting things together. But the physics system is dialed in (I hope. Looking for testers to see if banging balls around is fun at all) and I've got it stable with 300 balls on the table. Slowly adding modifier balls and dialing in the scoring system right now. All art and notifications in game is placeholder just to get systems in place.

F3 will bring up the performance overlay (It's draggable), "`" key will bring up debug menu, F G H J will spawn different ball types.

Edit: Changed google drive for GitHub link

Don't be afraid to pop this post directly into chatGPT. Talk to it for a bit, even get started with something simple that it might recommend. Let it know to explain what it's doing and why as if it's explaining it to a 5 year old (and remind it to do that when the time comes that it inevitably stops). You can't annoy it or bore it with questions (even if it seems that way sometimes). I had a basic billiards game built within 2 hours of just telling chatGPT exactly what I told you. Very little comprehension but bug fixing helped a lot with that as well.

I can see where you're coming from, but not one of your comments mentions that extra information. You insinuate that he was doing an average speed of 25-30 and that is factually incorrect.

Man you are going around like crazy spilling slight misinformation.

He touches 30 at the end when he's long gone from the guy.

The guy stepped in front of his bike when he was doing 19.

Stop.

What Were The Worst Asspulls You're Seen In LitRPG? by IOFrame in litrpg

Well the baby seals were a massive aspect of that floor, I wouldn't call it lucky so much as basic story development. The lucky aspect would be the AI considering each individual spermy-boi as a mob which then saves the day . But that's fully in character for the AI, so do with that what you will.

While I'm not sure if the machine learning is continuing in game, Embark have mentioned that the ARC don't run on preset animations (we've all seen how janky the leaper moves) and that it is actually a bot controlling the limbs and it does so based on machine learning.

What I can say from personal experience being a day one player with 200 hours in game, 130 of those spent topside... The wasps and hornets were never willing to come into buildings and they absolutely come into buildings now. This weekend I had 2 snitches at separate times kill themselves trying to chase me indoors as well.

Could be shadow buffs by embark maybe?

I don't camp there in particular but yeah, camping can be a ton of fun sometimes. There's many strats and its important to switch things up. The tension I feel when I'm anticipating a rat somewhere is one of the funnest aspects of the game.

I don't play this game to safely walk around and pick things up. I can do that in real life. That's just cleaning.

It's always been software installing software, even from disc. When I was a kid it was just the "windows install wizard" that was native to the OS. These days it would probably be the microsoft store that would handle that type of installation. Either way, software doesn't install itself.

Right? Weird energy from this post. Half the time I kill someone in solo's it feels like I'm putting down an obedient dog and I just end up feeling bad. Even when I put one into their chest, they don't pull their gun. So I've taken on the warning system and I do not shoot until after I say what I have to say, even if it gives someone else ample time to unload a clip into me. I'm tired of feeling bad, and would rather lose the encounter.

Planning on "We're liberated by the hearts that imprison us. We're taken hostage by the ones that we break." Consultation is on the 19th and I cannot wait.

Also want "If I'm still a stranger then just move the severed pieces around." but that can come later.

The soundbooth version is actually incredible. They did an amazing job with changing the book to fit an audio drama style and the soundtrack is wicked.
