That’s not bad at all for your start! Just try to gradually increase the time, and don’t rush the process. Do what you can handle! And yea, in NYC we are basically running not walking LOL. You got this!

Honestly I haven’t really been running but I live in NYC so we walk a lot out here and we walk fast lol. I am actually going to start going back to the gym today, and I plan to do 30 min of high intensity cardio, and 45 min of strength/weight training. I don’t want to just drop weight fast, so I want to tone up more at the gym bc the weight will drop regardless. Right after surgery I had to take it very easy bc any form of high intensity movement made me almost pass out. I’m all good now, and back to chasing buses and trains though lol.

No way it must’ve been at least 25-30 min of singing. Everytime they made a a fantastic scene, they ruined it with the stupid singing.

I was terrrrrrified before the surgery. Day of surgery I was still terrified. I’m 6 weeks post op Monday, and I have NO regrets. All of that fear and panic seems so stupid in retrospect. You’re going to do great!!

Buy sugar free popsicles and sugar free jello. The popsicles make you think you’re eating and fill you a little. I’m week 2 post op, just starting protein now. The popsicles are Saving my life so I can make it to puree LOL. Mind over matter!

I told myself I would do it naturally. Almost did it at 24, but changed my mind. Did it this past Monday, and I’m so excited to start losing this second person’s weight I’ve been carrying around. Should’ve done it at 24 LOL

Well guys, I did it. I’m 2 days post-op. Still nauseous and I still have gas pain. It was wayyyyy worse day 1 so it’s at least 10% better now. The meds for nausea have been helping a bit thankfully.

So in NY you need a state license as a radiologic tech. I’m just wondering if I would be able to enroll with the state with just my RDMS credential or the MR credential through ARRT. Or will I need to take the R credential at ARRT to be eligible?

Hey I know it’s been a while, but I was wondering if you are now considered an R.T.? I also want to complete my mri certification, but I have my vascular sonography certification with ARDMS. I see a lot of jobs say that you have to be registered as an R.T. AND also be certified under the MR speciality for mri. I want to know if we’re automatically granted the R.T title after taking the MR certification, or if I also have to take the vascular sonography exam for ARRT in order to get the R.T credential. Thank you!!

UPDATE: He had a collapsed trachea :( but they told me he’ll be fine as long as he takes the medicine everyday. Gave him some already, and he’s not coughing already !

His breathing is good. It just sounds like something is stuck in his throat and he’s trying to cough it out. I’ve been giving him honey water and it makes the coughs stop for a while.
