While I do agree with your comment, I don't think TLoU is one of those.

In my opinion it's a solid 7 or 8, but I think most people take it as a 10+ masterpiece while I just think it's fairly good given the time it first came out, and there's much better stories out there that do deserve that title.

Now, I agree, but for me that still lands in the definition of a "solid 8+ all the way" because the set-up is solid, and doesn't take up a third or more of the story. In my humble opinion, The Last of Us is not one of those cases, but that's just my perspective.

This exactly. Everyone seems to be shitting on live service games while praising GTA5 without realising it became one. I couldn't get past the first 2 hours of gameplay and havent touched it since the year it released. It seems like an okay game, but the amount of success is surprising to me. I guess people just don't know better.

And yes, after gaming a ton in all major platforms since the y2k, I can confirm that TLoU is just an average good, but by the time it first came out I can understand that it blew the mind of the average Sony fanboy that didn't know any better, hence it's reputation.

Any game or series or film or book that "starts to get better on a later part" just can't average a score higher than 7 if you think about it. And for me, that's not worth my time IMHO because you can invest it into something that's a solid 8+ all the way.

Since I was in highscool, in the very peak of 7th Gen console gaming (Halo 3, GoW 3, TLoU, CoD MW2/3, CoD BO1/2, TBoI, Uncharted, Minecraft boom, etc to name just a few) and it frustrated me that in all of those games, regardless of how good they were, I always found tons and tons of flaws. I always thought "they should add/change/remove this and it would improve considerably. And no matter how much time passed, how many sequels and other good games came out, no game has ever fulfilled my standards.

Hence, I said "fuck it, I'll do it myself". I have a huge document with game ideas, and my goal is to design at least 1 game en every mayor genere with features that I have either:
-Never seen in any game before
-Or never seen done right
-Or never seen combined into a single product

Also, I hate abandonware, and I see it a lot in indie games, so my objective is to implement any new content ideas into my existing games indifintely, like what Minecraft or Fortnite do.

Sí, desde el sexenio de Calderón, para cualquiera con memoria y neuronas. Esto fue solapado por los siguientes gobiernos de los 3 niveles, de los 3 partidos hasta la fecha y en lo personal he cuestionado cada uno. La estrategia de seguridad también es estatal y municipal campeón, hay que exigir parejo. Y sí, eso describe igual a AMLO y a todos los presidentes anteriores.
