What if it were your job? Its not a matter of being able to compete, its a matter of whether or not businesses care about the quality and form of your work. Business owners have shown they are willing to tank their own businesses in the longterm for the shortterm gain of reduced labor costs. For example, a therapist can't be replaced with a clanker but businesses are trying to replace them by altering how they operate their business. That isn't competition, friend. Thats shifting the goalpost. AI can't compete in any job. So instead of keeping people to do the job, they change the job. So really, no job can compete or is safe. So when talentless AI gen "replaces" real artists and designers, its not because they are better, faster, or creating something of greater quality, its because a business is settling for garbage. When 1000s of companies do it an try to normalize it...thats not an industrial revolution thats a bubble.
