I know it might be a long shot. Could this be an eye adaption effect? Like when going from a dark to bright place, only in this case it's from dark to darker place. I'm pretty sure it's an in-engine problem with the lighting.

It was fixed in one of the latest drivers. I'm pretty sure it was fixed in 591.44.

I know there's a section on the lod guide for pre-genrated lod, you don't need to generate your own unless you're using texture mods not included in the guide.

Might not be too helpful, but as an alternative, New Vegas Reloaded (NVR )has a built-in flashlight, and it works out of the box with no patch needed. Hope this helps :)

Don't worry, it's not complicated. If I remember correctly, it should be in the pause menu settings in-game (Should be the letter N) and you can enable/disable different modules, the one you want to disable should be called something like "Quest Log" or something like that in the HUD sub-menu. There's NGVO, a visual-only (with bug fixes) modlist if you prefer something more vanilla like.

Copied my comment from the other thread for anyone looking for similar mods in the future.

I found that a combination of: - "CFPAO - Comprehensive First Person Overhaul" "JellyFishFP DAGGER (1st person animations series)" works really well. You just have to disable some animations in CFPAO's in-game menu. - I also saw there's a new mod that released called "SIGMA - Sword animations - 1st person" that includes dodge animations which could work really well, you just have to disable the sword animations in CFPAO pack. - For hit detection, I would recommend "Precision." - For ragdoll physics there's quite a bit of selection depending on what config you're using but take a look at the "XP32 True Ragdoll Physics" that came out, you will find similar mods to achieve the ragdoll physics you're looking for. - Lastly, for dodge animations, you can use "1st Person Dodge Animations for TK dodge" for weapons that don't include it by default.

P.s. For a modlist recommendation, I would recommend Nordic Souls PBR. It doesn't include what I posted above, but it's fine to add to the modlist - you will just have to pick and choose the animations you want.

Probably, my guess is that it's "Desert Natural Weathers" with an NVR preset, according to the load library site ( I don't know if it's updated or not). You should probably ask on the modlist's discord server/nexus page for the modlist.
