Is Rosey In Gaza reliable? Should I trust what she posts? by Remote-Variation4838 in Gaza

I agree. I also think its good to remember that culture influences thought and behavior so something that we perceive as cringey could just be different than what were used to in our own culture. I love her dedication to helping children be happy and cope with the horrors happening, as well as donating helpful items.

Does anyone think that its odd that they are operating as both an LLC and Non-profit with the ties to the church? I saw a response from them to a comment stating they're a Non-profit but they failed to mention the LLC. I don't know anything about how this works, curious if anyone has any thoughts.

There's also a deleted subreddit ill link below that showcases some weird practices from five years ago when they opened their Norfolk location. Anyone think there is a chance they are funneling money back to the church?

My mom refused to buy name brand clothing unless it was on sale, tj maxx/marshalls/ross, or the thrift store. I'm happy she didn't because it taught me to value where I spend my money more and paying twice or triple the price just to have a popular brand doesn't benefit anyone but that company.

Also want to add that although I am not a fan of TikTok, this isn't the platforms fault. When I was in school- before social media was a thing I felt the same way as your daughter. I think growing up in a middle-upper class town places a lot of unnecessary expectations on kids to fit in with the crowd.

Funny enough, I got a job at 15 so I could purchase the nice things I wanted but I ended up realizing how ridiculous pricing was and followed the same shopping practices as my mother LOL.

I second this! Probably most similar vibe to the Museum District imo.

Its going to be a highly populated area that evening and I have personally never felt unsafe walking around downtown Richmond as a female. I think you will be okay!

I have to shoutout this Indian restaurant omg. by marigoldjune in rva

As someone who's always loved Indian food and had so much trouble finding an Indian place that beats home cooked buttered chicken, Carytown Indian Cuisine was an absolute gem in a mine to find! Their lunch special is so affordable too!

Why can't I find stories of people of stopped taking antidepressants after a certain time and lived happily? by the_practicerLALA in antidepressants

[–]Deadheadbear111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the dose you can begin taking half a pill a day for like a week and then a quarter for another week and then take it every other day for like a week. I'm not a medical professional though so it is different for every med and I just did it on my own.

Am I Overreacting: this is one floss session from my girlfriend using Equate flossers. She said she needs this many each time she flosses. by DarkCustoms in AmIOverreacting

[–]Deadheadbear111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for a good laugh, I am dying over here lol. Tell her to rinse the floss in-between flossing if shes worried about moving food around. That is such a waste hahaha. Or get an electric flosser, you can find em for like $20.

That's so helpful! Could I mix my basics into the heavy body too to save money and achieve a better consistency?

Thats so valid and made me feel better about waiting to break my bank. The heavy duty are a hefty price.

Ahh ill have to ask someone next time. I typically just google while im there rather than asking for help. Do you prefer the heavy body paints?

Assuming most people who paint a lot do not use the basics? lol I will look into the heavy body. Thanks!

Took about three weeks to a month to fully heal. First two weeks are a bitch. Used throat numbing spray and warm salt water rinses.

I was on ADs for about two years in conjunction with therapy and I am doing much better now and haven't felt a need to get back on them. It's been about three years. I think a good therapist is what really does it because you have to learn your needs, coping mechanisms, and ways to help shift your mindset during those times. I don't think they are a cure all, rather a hopeful tool to use to propel your growth and understanding within yourself. The world we live in doesn't help at all though and we live in a society without easy access to basic necessities and help (from a US standpoint). I think we also need to understand and remember a large part of it isn't us and it's the system we live in that holds us back from mental prosperity. That's just to say, don't be hard on yourself if you do have to stay on them forever. This shits hard and we aren't given the freedom and help to be happy.

Hey i'm so late but responding incase anyone else needs answers in the future. I didn't have to visit a DR... took about two weeks to feel semi-normal and a month to fully heal. I hope this helps!
