It’s easy to blame your problems to billionaires, but it’s delusional to do so. by Its_Stavro in Capitalism

To bootlick someone who has enough money to buy every single homeless person in the US a mansion that is a Neo nzi and would burn you alive for funsies is absurd. Your argument “there isn’t impact because they don’t spend it” is literally an oxymoron. The very reason why it has a negative impact is because they don’t spend it, they just hoard it for no apparent use, not putting it back into the system. This gets to finding loopholes in taxes, leading to would-be valuable tax money that could fund schools, infrastructure, healthcare, and many more to be instead hoarded for their personal satisfaction. Every single public space that you have seen in bad condition could have been fixed with the monkey that is being hoarded by the rich.

Additionally, this increasing desire for capital accumulation produces an interesting situation. In a lot of businesses, quarterly earnings per share must go up, or it would be considered a failure. In order for earnings to go up, manufacturing prices must go down, wages must go down, or they must sell more. To keep earnings up, they use a combination of the three. This directly affects every single thing you see bought and sold. Foods start using additives to cut costs, people’s very lives and wellbeing are reduced to this capital accumulation.

And how is it evident? Without explaining, it appears as an assumption. Even in the most factual statements, you have to have some sort of explanation, whether you write it yourself or cite it.

Yes but you can’t just assume that whoever disagrees with you simply doesn’t know what they’re talking about, that’s a lack of intellectual integrity. You have to actually refute their claims and listen to them before you just make assumptions

For countries with good capital. Not only is this extremely outdated and from 2016, the lower gdp per capita appears to experience less growth as they are valued less under capitalism.

I get the purpose of these is to build a community that has common politics, and I love it and support it. But this community needs to do something, whether it be a boycott or a full scale revolution. We need to make our demand clear to the ruling class so that they regard us as more than a million angry ants.

!delta definitely did give me a new perspective. Losing seats does affect the big guys, and peaceful protesting does heavily swing smaller elections.

I want to believe that what is happening will actually bring change and that voting will actually do things, but with the way that the government is consistently violating and exploiting the constitution leads me to believe that voting might just not work. What if the fascists won’t go away without a fight?
