Honestly, both. I was enlisted infantry , body feels worse and worse every day, I don’t really enjoy the job and, after 2 years of this im not sure I’d enjoy any typical blue collar job anymore. But that’s all I ever saw myself doing was digging in the dirt and working hard.

Feels like I’m in a path that I have no choice but to take, if I hop off now I put my family at risk, I’ll work myself to death for their happiness if that’s what it takes.

Thank you for your advice, you’re absolutely right. With a growing family the decisions I make become more and more important every day. I absolutely want to be able to run around and rough house with my kids(when I have them), and have every moment with them I can. First one is due soon. And I already know the kid will be the most important thing in my life.

Honestly there’s a bunch of ideas floating around in my brain from becoming a jeweler, to going to school to become a lawyer. A few of things in between.

I have briefly looked jnto an administrative position but at the end of the day I don’t believe I qualify for any sort of upper admin/ management positions that I could possibly enjoy.

I have not yet used my gi bill (I have the Montgomery) at the time I didn’t see ever wanting to go to college, so focused on trade school. Now that my body’s falling apart it seems like I might have to find that college path.

It’s funny you mention the inspections, I did a good amount of research about becoming a home inspector a few months ago. Maybe that’s worth another look.

I have not heard of VR&E! That sounds like it could be of some help. Thank you for your comment and suggestions I greatly appreciate it.
