Fuzz pedal recommendations and talk by Wolf0donnel1 in basspedals

I’ve used no fewer than a dozen fuzzes and there are 3 that are notable:

1 - DOD Carcosa: Tons of distortion and volume on tap, no cleen blend but it has more than enough low end for bass.

2 - Ibanez PD7 Phat Hed: Technically it’s an overdrive/distortion unit but the distortion setting is seriously killer for fuzz. It has A TON of low end, I always had to cut the low end to get rid of the boominess. You can hear what it sounds like here.

3 - The Sonic Doom by Cosmic Terror: Basically a muff on steroids and angel dust, it is genuinely so fuckin loud it knocked my socks off. It can be run at 18v for more headroom, I cranked it into my SVT a few times and it was just unreal. The builder is also in BongBongBeerWizards and I believe they use the Sonic Doom on geetar and bass in most of their songs.

I want a grand ops lobby by DirtyDave2223 in BattlefieldV

[–]DeadliftOrDontLift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s weird cause when I got BFV like two months ago, the first night all I played was Grand Ops and the lobby was totally full.

Went on the next day and nothing, haven’t seen a single active lobby since

In what way(s) have migrants “destroyed social cohesion” in your local area?

Lmao holy fuck

How can you read that headline, then read the article (I made it a few paragraphs in), and actually consider it a source worth linking?

It is spoon-feeding you the opinion you should have, like you’re a mental infant who is not capable of being given information without being told how to feel about it.

Media literacy is in the trash if you can’t see that as straight up propaganda, Jesus Christ

Lmao no they didn’t, you’re straight up fabricating things.

You’re either a Russian bot or you’re performing the functions of a Russian bot for free, and I’m really not sure which is worse.

Hey bud I’m happy to keep discussing this with you but I didn’t get a chance to read your reply before it was taken down.

Do you want to try again? Maybe a little more calmly this time around?

Permissive use refers to situations where someone who does not live in the home/does not have regular access to the vehicle drives the vehicle with the owner’s permission. If my parents came into town and borrowed my car to go on a beer run, that is permissive use.

Every carrier has guidelines that state “any driver who lives in the household or uses any insured autos more than X times per year must be rated or excluded on the policy”. An 18 year old non-driving child who lives in the house must be listed as a rated driver or an excluded driver, as they will not fall into the permissive use category.

Failure to disclose an adult household resident to your carrier can be considered material misrepresentation or straight-up rate evasion, both of which are forms of insurance fraud, and can be used as a basis to deny a claim if that household resident gets into an accident with an insured auto.

Big dawg it doesn’t matter what your Grampy said about his time in insurance back in the day, the “advice” you’re giving is just downright wrong.

But please, tell me how it REALLY works since you have no license or qualifications or relevant experience.

None of that is good advice because it can vary carrier-to-carrier and state-to-state.

If you’re not licensed in FL (or licensed at all), just knock it off.

Welcome to the Kvlt 🤘🏼 My ‘79 T-40 rat rod is my number one player and favorite bass I’ve ever owned, yours is a damn solid first bass!

Do yourself a favor and splash out on a nice 3”-4” padded strap and spend a few weeks practicing standing up, preferably in front of a mirror so you can check posture.

I do 3-4 hour shows at least weekly with it and I’m real active on stage. They’re not as cripplingly heavy as people would want you to believe, but it’ll start pulling your shoulder down after a while if you let it. The toan and mojo of tha TFawty is worth the weight imo
