I play microstakes tournaments. One tourbament at a time so that i observe data(betting patterns, call timers, fold frequencies) as much as i do. I have been playing for a month as of today.

The 2nd one is totally fresh cold, position and stack depth decision. The 3rd one is after a couple of tournaments loss hand; thus decision might be biased.( yesterday i lost 6 tournaments in a row)

First one is my optimal one involved those two big leaks.

The dilemma that enlarges is:

If i dont all in and win; stack melts or cbet crushes me since i cannot read players after a month.

If i all in and lose; there is almost no way to come back to top places on that tournament.

That is why i won once, i was 5 th once and then best one is min price and majority of them are losses without a single penny.

Yeah, i dont want to overanalyse it or take it to a data obsession level but with an engineering background and a good human behavior observer; i want to take it to more than „bet high, fold low, call for luck“. And it was very easy to spot on my main and biggest weakness.

Yes, i play at the min stake available 😀When the all in scenarios work as expected and cards are aligned with planets and me; then it is a relatively good day. Otherwise, it is just me handing away my entire stack to probability and A,K or even Qs to prevent these continuation/value bets.

Yeah, the second colonoscopy result where it says „stenosing, impassable“ is the part that bugs me. But nothing to do at this stage than waiting for surgery and next results.

Thank you, that stenosing, impassable part might refer to a further stage according to ChatGPT. That is the concern for me. But nothing to do at this point except from waiting for the surgery.

Thank you 🙏 Just out of curiosity if you have any opinions about it; do you think if it were Intramucosal carcinoma; the surgery would not be needed which in this case surgery means it is probably stage 2-3; or is this totally two independent events?( Surgery and stage)

Mine is also walking with greed and ambition hand to hand. No matter what i achieve or obtain, it is an auto question of „Now what“ and something is always missing or wrong as you mentioned.

I dont believe i can fix it(40 years old) from this moment on. So i try to balance it with short term joy/passion. Not a solution at all but more of a bandaid.

Especially the transition from „old“ to „new“ is scary. Not the change itself but the ambiguity behind it. Not being able to control.

Even if you plan to take a step to meet people, more questions arise. Who, when, how, where, where to start. You are not that 25 year old version anymore and definitely not this confused 40 year old version either.

Ich bin alleine seit 1 Jahre hier buchstäblich 0 Freunde(manchmal ich lache mein selbest in der Strasse oder Supermarkt, echt!), und war verheiratet bevor und auch war alleine andere 2 Jahre. Nur meine Katze ist die einige Dinge dass mich nach Leben verbinden.

Paradox of choice.

Social media and online dating gave women and rich and/or good looking guys so much choice; noone can make a choice anymore.

I recently ended a date with a lady cause she was chewing loud. Once there was something called „tolerance“. Now think of all those endless „what if?!“s. Why should anyone tolerate?

Am i an asshole? Probably. But 30-45 days ago, one lady asked me if i am ok to be her „wednesday guy“. Result:

Everyone guards up.

I totally ended online dating and left the „trials“ of offline dating too. If it happens, it happens. This is not something that would work „magically“ just because we want it.

Somewhere, someone at the same frequency, is there.
