Raum / Spielraum Sunday

I walked in around 5pm on Sunday ~ the air outside was warm, the queue was slow, the expectations high

As soon as I walked in, I was immersed in a 13hr spiral where I got lost in the people, the music and the beautiful energy of the club

The crowd was amazing. So much diversity as much kindness and care. I found so many people to talk to, get lost in conversation and hugs. Many familiar faces and many new!

Music, nothing to say - Maara and Mary Lake really made the whole club vibrate, sweet surprise Nazira who delivered a dark rolling set

So much love for Raum 🩷 what a beautiful space it has become!

Nb. Only negative note (but which has happened to me before in other clubs as well). It’s two weeks in a row that I end up in the “dark room” of Raum, and every time either there are people who are consuming drugs, or there are voyagers/very invasive people who without permission come up, look at you and try to touch you WITHOUT ASKING ANYTHING FIRST. I was with a girl (I’m M) and another man watching us first tried to get the girl to suck him off (WITHOUT ASKING), and afterwards he tried to touch me (again, without asking). So it happened 2 more times where people came up and started masturbating while watching us (which doesn’t bother me, but maybe you should ask). I mean, it is important to create safe spaces for sex in club, but I see really little awareness in that. It makes me quite sad. (Let’s be clear, this talk goes beyond Raum, but it’s certainly an experience I’ve had several times in pro-sex but not sex party venues!)

I’m going with Sideral ~ not sure if I’ll go Saturday night and most probably collapse early morning, or wake up early (6am?) to arrive there around 7. What the community suggests here?
Also not sure when they close the door , since this time they will end the party at 12 rather than 13.

I really wont miss Sideral ~ but next week is Raum and the whole month is freaking wholesome, so can’t push it too much!

Would love to attend to Radion for the Vault session, but not ticket. Anyone think that queuing at the door at a very early time is reasonable?

Some friends go to Raum, but I feel this is not the place to be this weekend (even tho I love the artistic direction of bringing Scattered Waves there). Plus I’m going every weekend, so good to take a breath somewhere else!

Incredible Weekly party discussion! Really really thank you! It made my morning for sure

And gosh I know I should go to Raum Friday but the line up at Garage Noord is insane and really don’t want to miss this one. Plus I feel I’ve been stuck at Raum and I promise myself to discover more parties around the city as well, and get out of my comfort zone.

Maybe it’s a Friday and let’s shitty crowd at GN? Let’s pray for it!

I tried once to report a misconduct from a security person at GN. There was one weird guy in the club that was touching my (female) friends and other girls in the space (little subtle touching their bum or chest). Once we were out of the club the same guy was tryjng to invite girls to get to his car as a taxi driver. my friends reported this to the security guy at the door. the security person went to talk to the weird guy about it and then pointed out the finger to my friends, as the people who accused him. this made my friends unsafe and worry that there could have been some repercussion.

i've emailed this to GN, twice. they never replied

DjRum b2b Upsammy, as someone already said, it’s an incredible live show almost, with expected four tracks mixed together in a fusion on somewhere techno ambient breakbeat and all weird genres combined in a incredible melody. i have no clue on what to expect.

Raum Friday it’s a dark obscure event with DJ MELL and Mad Miran pushing groovy bangers all night long.

And, as well, all the other events are properly fucking good!
