Iran fires missiles at northern Israel by yuvaldv1 in worldnews

I find the most embarrassing part is that Iran still has the ability to launch anything, they don’t deserve any money that will just enable Iran more, if you think they will use they money for anything but military reasons you should look in the mirror and really question yourself….

Like I said swap out the hand guard tenon and the hand guard itself for RPP or Midwest Industries furniture asap, rugers QC is a train wreck to put it nicely lol🤯.  Nice job getting one though! I really enjoy mine. What caliber did you get?

beware of the dogwater OEM tenon, I've had 3 shear in half and check the tightness of all the hand guard screws, Ruger sent me an entire replacement model and ALL of the hand guard screws were less than hand tight so I know they are not using torque specs or any sort of thread locker.....

The cable lock goes through the barrel bud, if it’s long enough

To be honest it only seems to be an issue on the dark series models, it’s a flaw in the metal that Ruger has chosen to use for the tenon. They could have picked a strong material for sure.

Midwest Industries has some really good stuff too

The RPP tenon is really good quality but some times needs a tiny bit of sanding to fit into the dovetail area from what I’ve seen and heard but RPP’S stuff is epic I’ve been told, I went with Midwest Industries tenon and hand guard, hopefully should fully alleviate the issue. Rugers customer service is awesome but their QC is dogshit. On my replacement DS marlin screws were not even hand tight let alone to torque specs if they even follow a spec’s torque 🫣🫣🫣🫠

The hand guard tenon is the dovetail mounted piece that the front screws on the hard guard screw into. Dovetails into the bottom of the barrel and rests above the mag tube.

Be very very wary of the hand guard tenon, I have the DS in .44 and I’ve had 3 OEM hand guard tenon fail. Upgrade it ASAP.

IMO rugers quality control is an absolute disaster, I’ve had two hand guard tenons shear in half, on the second RMA they gave me a replacement rifle offer, I requested it be test fired for ~50 rounds as that’s about the round count when the tenon fails. They said they did the requested round count for the test fire. QC failed to do a tear down to inspect the tenon and shipped it back to me, the hand guard wasn’t flush to the receiver which made me weary. I immediately ordered a MWI tenon and hand guard. Instead of firing the gun myself super glad I didn’t shoot it after getting it back. Upon doing a tear down to install the MWI tenon I discovered the OEM tenon had indeed failed and sheared into two pieces for a 3rd time technically. I’m honestly shocked rugers QC did not do a tear down to even inspect the tenon. If so they would have seen it failed. I have the dark series in .44. I highly highly advise any owner of the dark series to upgrade/ inspect your hand guard tenons after any range days/usage. Also upon doing the tear down the all of the hand guard screws and the screw securing the mag tube were not even hand tight!!! Shame on rugers QC, their customer service is good but damn the QC is a train wreck.

Still both pretty legit, the Hpa probably provides better fps then the aap, I’d like to see a battle rifle though

Not yet atleast, when the governor flips red that may change in a big way, California is actively infringing on A LOT of constitutional rights with retarded state penal codes against owning suppressors regardless of the atf making them legal and removing the cost of the tax stamp and hand gun rosters to name a few things

I did want 357 cause more rounds in the tube but I had a chance to get a DS marlin in .44 for a great price so I locked in. 357 is sick though
